I gotta ask, what is the character creator going to look like? I can't imagine it would be anything too crazy.

Looking forward to this one!(y)It's basically an indie Blooodlines 2, if that game wasn't a soulless corpo cashgrab...

Tyranicon if I may make a tiny request: give the player character at least 15 inventory slots on the paper doll for various item types. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see an RPG with only 4-5 item types/slots per partymember, it severely limits build options. Having greater item diversity allows for more granular builds, even if most of it comes from static bonuses and maluses bestowed by equipment. Most items in RPGs are some variation of stat (de)buffs, so adding more of them shouldn't bloat production time at all. And you also get that sweet theorycrafting dopamine boost when planning out your character's builds during levelups or when acquiring new loot.

Just something to consider. ;)

If by anime style you mean the character sprites, those will still be in as a toggle option.

So my last game, Baldr's Squid Isekai, had a lot of slots (17!) on its paper doll. I learned a few things from that and Vampire Syndicate will likely have fewer but they'll be meaningfull. Still likely a more complicated RPG than most AAA games, but I probably won't have the bandwidth to make a more hardcore build simulator.
