I've just started to play your game and wow its impressive. Reminds me so much of the 80's Dune movie mixed with some Timebandits movie and some really well made Ridley Scott directing cue's.

As i've said i've not played much but will do so soon. The girl design is super sexy without being smut. Also are you using Blender? The graphics style feels almost "No man Sky".

Love your avatar too.
Thank you very much!

I am a fan of Ridley Scott's work, especially his latest tv show.
I'm trying to tell my story using different filmmaking techniques, as my VN has the pacing of a movie/tv show. I'm not sure if I can really pull it off, but is worth as try.

Yes, I'm using Blender and the style is somewhat... accidental, though it has some underlying intentions to look a certain way.

I've also played your game, Alternate Existence a while back. The renders are really good and I like the tone of the story, and the MILF :BootyTime: (y)

Thank you for playing AE. AE is in its infancy. Trust me the story is going to fuck peoples shit up later.

Well I love your style dude. IT's a "fucking" shame you are not getting the support you deserve. I'd like to add your game to my "other-devs" option i have in AE. Will you be okay with this? Not sure if you've seen it, it's to advertise other games/devs in AE.

Also you up for a shoutout sometime?

THx.

I am fan, I can't wait see how the story it's going to evolve. And if going dark... well, I like dark themes. (y)

Thx! My game is still in it's early days and am new dev, so that's expected. Also, I didn't have my "true" debut yet. These two episodes were only a small peak into my world. Currently finishing up a bigger and polished version of my game that encompasses the themes and sets the base for what I'm trying to narrate, with the addition of sexy elements, characters, world-building and more.

Sure, thank you!

Maybe in the future, once I release a few more updates.

Thank YOU!

Small delay, but COMING SOON!

I was hoping I would be able to finish Vanqwar - Chapter 1 by now, but I still need a little more time. The rendering took a bit longer then expected and I had to redo some scenes that I wasn't really happy with.

I am currently editing like a motherfucker and putting all things together. I hope to finish as soon as possible.

Coming soon and more immersive than ever!
Thank you!

Not gonna lie, Helmeted Smith's gif is one of the most glorious things I've ever seen. I won't even talk about the beautiful renders and incredibly unique and delicious style cause it would require a world renown poet to truly do it justice. I am a humble man and I hope you accept my fealty...

Helmeted Smith what happend it seems you went dark all of a sudden? Its ok to have delays don't worry about that. But keep us posted man. Your game is worth the wait!!! don't give the sour mouths a chance to start a negative twist on things.

I apologize for that!

To be honest...
I think I bit off a lil' bit more than I could chew.
But, I'm trying my best.
Almost there.

Helmeted Smith Sad news... Can you still post some update pics every once in a while? I loved the style of your models, so seeing them in (nothing) next to nothing would be great. You have a talent, I hope you come back with avengence!

One piece of advice. You mentioned in your post that the world has now "expanded with new characters, worldbuilding and story elements." I'd say most, if not all, on this site want a competent plot and a well told story. It doesn't have to be Lord of the Rings in scope to understand character motivations. It doesn't take the highest renders of all time to make people relate to the MC. It doesn't take 15 winding paths to fall in love with your world. It takes an understanding. It needs story telling, not just story. More isn't always good, in fact, it can muddle things a lot.

My thoughts are, don't think of the macro when it comes to fantasy. We're not all J.R.R, Tolkein. We can baby step it. While a good outline is necessary, it isn't the world that dictates why a character is lovable. It doesn't show personality quirks, nor does it show character growth.

My main point is that characters are much more important than the world. That's why we can play College Harem story number 1,403 and Corruption Family/Office 24,525,241.

Anyway, I've said what I wanted to say :)

Good luck brother/sister!

I wonder what video card you're using?
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080

Of course, the story is character focused (micro), and the worldbuilding will be mostly limited to only MC's journey. But, this is a sci-fantasy world, so overall elements of macro are required (at least in principle) to give a bit more depth and understand were the characters are coming from. I don't want the fantasy elements to be represented only in aesthetics, but in the story too.
Though, I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

Don't worry bro/sis, I'm just saying that I put a lot more stock in characterization than the worldbuilding. There have been games/movies that I've skipped on fantastic worlds with rich history cause the characters were as engaging as a 4 hour cram school session. I trust that you got the story down though. I would just like to dive into it sooner than later regardless of how haphazard it is.

But seeing the images you've posted, I'm happy with the visuals on the project at the very least. You've got a big fan :)
