What's the musics folder for? Can we add our own music? I threw some mp3 files in the subfolders in there but it doesn't seemed to have worked.

I think they have to be .ogg format.

Convert them to .ogg and the game will use them instead of its prerendered music. The soundtrack I use is completely different from the in game selection.

Up to personal taste, whatever you put in there will get repetitive, so put in stuff you won't get tired of and fits the vibe.

Never been in such place, but maybe black sabbath or joe cocker can do the job but if someone is use to this place please let us know

Mine's not necessarily going to be to everyone's taste. My work folder tends towards skanky slutty industrial music with occasional slow mixes in there. Lords of Acid, that sort of thing. Outside of it, it tends towards more rock and metal. You might enjoy that I have the Faith No More cover of War Pigs in my personal list.

This one is weird. I've played VC a LOT and suddenly it doesnt work anymore

"Ok, wtf do you mean by that"



When I open the exe, only this window opens up... I cant see more and I cant click on maxim window.
If I press Alt-Enter I see this in full screen



everything else is black.


I restarted PC, I reinstalled the game 3 times
Other Unity Games still work but somehow VC is busted fo me

Holy moly, I am actually proud of myself, I fixed it myself.

I have absolutely no idea how that happend as I didnt fumble anything with the settings at all, but to fix it, I went to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Tobe/Disgruntler\Venus's Club: Happy Hour" in the registry and changed this:


to that:



I changed both height_h[numbers] and width_h[numbers]
back to normal values and it worked.

I found a 16 year old post on some random ass unity forum where they explained that Unity might bug out and change the settings in the registry, all I had to do is find your "Company Name" which was quite hard as I searched for either Venus or Disgruntler, but not Tobe, thus I had to search every registry in my folder (which is a lot)

Yeah. I never changed the 'company' to just me, because credit where credit's due.

I think it's mostly a lot of little tweaks to how much things cost and stuff like that. The one change I'm aware of that's more significant is that you can do a "portrait100" image, and it will show up in the game when the girl is at Openness 100.

Don't retire them from service, just take them off the work list and replace them with other girls in the work-assignment screen. If they're at 0 energy they'll automatically set to rest. So long as they're not working in the back office or assigned to the brokers they'll regenerate energy and be ready to work soon enough.

Is there any workarounds for Venus club crashing? I am currently using 60 girl packs, and it randomly crashes every now and then during service hours when playing videos.

Edit: could it be the packs that I have that use MP4 over webm format for videos?
