Great game so far, but I feel like there is a disconnect between the map and the daily plan. Being able to go everywhere on the map every day is a bit much and tedious when certain events happen on the map, also that some locked jobs are on the map and some are in the daily plan, makes it seem more efficient to do a job that's on the map and get extra actions on the plan.
locked jobs are another weird feeling mechanic in its current state, maybe if every locked job was its own category in the daily planner, and it made it clear you get to choose one and follow that route then it would feel better. as it stands now, if you choose the prostitute route you essentially have 2 places on the map that are locked out and are pointless, and the other way, you choose a job on the map and you lock an activity out on the daily planner. If all the jobs were in the same menu and clear that you chose this path.
maybe if locked jobs / story paths were on the map in a different way and the map was essentially for the path your on, main story events, shops, etc, things that and the daily planner was for improving skills, side things and random encounters it would feel more concise on what you are doing. so this would shift prostitute to the map, and drinking and hunting to the daily planner.
i don't know.. just some of my thoughts. not sure if anyone actually working on the game would even see this or if it doesn't match their vision for what they are trying for.
