Chosen One by far, yeah. Pretty much no other background right now has anything going for it after the intro. People might reference it here and there, but only Chosen One has actual content since you can't access Annette, Bill, or Bess without it.

If you mean Alpha and the wolf pack, then you currently can't. That hasn't been put in the game yet.

The easiest way is to take the hyper fertility trait at character creation. It not only boosts the player's chance to get pregnant to a guarantee, but also assures they'll impregnate anyone they cum inside unless they have some special exception like Annette.
If you don't take that, then you have a base line of 15% to knock most people up. 10% if you're whoring yourself out or buying prostitutes since they're just a little harder to impregnate. Broodmother from the Goblins also boosts the player's chance to impregnate people/be impregnated by another 10%, usually giving you a 25% chance base.
Beyond that, it's entirely RNG. The game adds anywhere from 1% to 100% (66% during prostitution) to your chance to knock someone up. So while you can stack the deck in your favor, it's still a game of chance (unless you have hyper fertility)

I find Warrior the best, personally. With multiple attacks off the rip, it's fairly easy for them to shut down most 1-on-1 encounters just with sheer number of attacks with high enough strength. Plus Strength ties into health, so they're harder to kill than most. And that's with your barehands. Once you add in weapon damage, it's very hard to come anywhere close to their damage

Wizard would probably take it if they had more spells or if their damage scaled based on their Intelligence, but they just don't have enough damage to make up for how squishy they have to be to make up for the points you have to put into Intelligence over Strength. They only have one spell that scales for how much you use it and you most likely will be defeated more than a few times building it up since its damage starts off pathetic.

I would wholesale advise against Hunter since they have no skills at all right now. They have a few scenes where they know more than any other class, but nothing impactful. Healer also doesn't have much going for them right now. The only potion they can craft only heals for 5 HP and they get to avoid most beast encounters, but that's about it since the rest of their skills aren't active yet. Acrobat's great for exploration since they cut down on travel time, have a few shortcuts, and get access to places others don't, but, again, nothing substantial. More fluff than anything. Bard is becoming more and more useful with the NPC work snekk is doing and they make an incredibly few luck checks easier, but I still wouldn't advise playing as one right now anyway.

QSP is more complete, but when you find a bug there you're screwed because it's no longer being worked on. Twine has features that weren't in QSP, but it's far behind in terms of story content and side content

I'm getting hangs on transitions somewhere between 3-10 seconds. The hive quest was very unpleasant.

Getting rid of most of my saves helped me a bit with this - still not a smooth experience but bearable.
It feels like the game autosaves with literally every step you take? And if you have multiple saves in use the process slows down tremendously, which is an issue I've noticed in a couple HTML games already. Didn't usually influence normal gameplay though, so I'm blaming the autosave.

Let me start a fresh save and go see what's going on there. As far as I can see, once you've investigated the rest of the town, you should only have 1 or 2 fights before you fight the Necromancer himself

Okay , tried to use a fresh save too, went human chosen one and once again after beating the zombie horde in the well it just loops me back to the start of the fight instead of fighting the necromancer.

I don't have a control panel on twingle version for some reason. No saves no quip and i always get arrested due to nudity, because i cant dress up

Talk to Death or explore the Beach on Dragon Isle. Both of those will give you free clothes

I think I found the issue causing the eternal necromancer fight. Anyone having that problem, please download the latest bugfix/modded version and let me know.
In other news, I won't be updating until 0.8.7 comes around. There are far too many breaking bugs that came with 0.8.6.2 and I currently don't have to patience to weed through them to fix. I don't blame snekk since they straight up warned in the Subscribestar post that this update is highly experimental, but it's just a bit much. That and, at last count, there were 293 bugs that I'd fixed. I'd really like to not have to fix all of them again in the next update since that takes hours to do
