I have no idea how to get skills. I don't know if I glossed over some info or what. My class is supposed to be wizard, but it says wizard-inspired, and it says I need a class before getting skills at a bed. Where can I get a class?

Also, I got locked out of Percy a bit ago, but I already overwrote the save prior to the whole minotaur thing. Any fix?

If you're playing base game, then neither of those issues have been solved yet. Even if you go to the Avedon Arena to get a class like you're supposed to, Wizard doesn't have a statue there, preventing you from getting that class. And in base game, if you rescue Percy without first getting captured, they just kinda disappear from the game. Both of these issues are fixed in the modded version. I don't think I fixed the Wizard problem in the bugfixed version

Everything got pretty much fixed after installing the mod and it all went smoothly except for a few bugs (like the werewolf, which keeps repeating the collar-breaking event, and Eve, which after the black goop event just becomes uninteractable, with no image). Thanks a lot.

I pretty much did everything I've seen I could do in Avadon, Britmon and the Isles (except for the snake problem which I do not know how to solve). Is that everything in this version? Because I've read around the thread that there are more places, but I do not seem to find a way to go there. I tried also going to Forth Reach which is the only place that strikes me as odd. Where those parts temporarily removed from the game like the castle? Mostly curious.

That's pretty much it. There's a little more content if you have The Chosen One background, but not terribly much. If you wanna roll the dice, you can go to the backrooms in the Lake Prison and potentially get sent to Monduval, but that's very incomplete. Still a bit more content to explore though. Snekk just released a new quest over on SS, but given Snekk themselves said they were very distracted this week, I'm not touching that until the next update where they can give it more of their attention. Updates where Snekk is distracted tend to be a lot worse in terms of bugs needing to be fixed
Also, the snake problem just hasn't been completed yet.

I've been following this game for some time and when I saw this new Twine rendition I decided that's it's a time for a comment.
1. First of all, thank you for your work. In my opinion, Rubedo is the greatest QSP game of all time and seeing its spiritual successor to go to Twine is really nice. It's easier to run and it probably has more technical options.
2. Your original story and a variety of races are good. Story is not easy to get a grasp on but it is an interesting take on our world's mythos.
3. From the game design perspective, it is an improvement from the "original" but here are some points:
  • Warrior has a multiattack but attacks do not go to different target. If I am fighting 5 goblins with 30 HP and I have 5 attacks, I still need take 5 attack actions. This is probably a tech thing but I felt that it needed mentioning.
  • It is not clear which actions lead to XP gain. The game really need visuals for this.
  • It seems that Monduval clothes do not have any effect for now.
  • Your default house is the hut on Dragon isles and you can teleport concubines only there which is odd.
4. Thank you for not hiding variables so they can be accessed via the browser console!

Things that I am not fond of:
1. For me, the main selling point of Rubedo was corruption. You decided to remove such arcs as:
  • barmaiden in Avedon suburbs (replaced with Frog that has a distinct kink so doesn't count),
  • onsen worker,
  • sex worker in the slums (it was not from pure to corrupt, it was from corrupt to truly depraved).
  • Idk about Tel-Adre barmaiden, it's not implemented yet.
  • Oh, I remembered, also sex in bakery! Now it's replaced with "semen donation" which is not that engaging imo.
  • Also, there were hints to corruption via flower delivery in Rubedo, now they are gone too.
  • And a gloryhole in the port.
2. You can sell yourself to lizardfolk and at the Junktown brothel from the get go, character do not have moral restraints to begin with which is odd. This genuinely breaks immersion.
3. Not only it breaks immersion, it makes it so there are no repetitive-and-escalating events in the game which are really important if you came here not for the story but for the NSFW content.
4. Overall it seems that there are more stuff to do as a male character than as a female character which makes me sad.
5. On a similar note, you can't use a brothel for some reason, you can only work in it. This would be a great addition.

So, I understand that you want to distance yourself from the "source" but I humbly ask you to consider bringing back things that made it great in the first place or making new similar ones that fill the same gameplay niches.

As a nar GD\ game writer I could even write something for you but I understand that you chose to be a single dev for a reason and I highly respect that as well as an enormous job you've done.

Thank you for your game! What you're making can be one of the greatest NSFW games of all time eventually.
