I rather wait and good a long animation they are so damn rare I get tired of 2-3 minute looping animations. Really people can't wait for a good quality animation anymore how impatient can you be.

If you're only looking for a doll style there aren't many. LMSK, Dragk, meeeatloat (みーとろーふ), Hal En off the top of my head. There are plenty of HQ 3D artists that release long form videos. Even Wildeer that gets clowned on for his bullshit excuses has released more long form content and content in general than Vici while making less money.
The real problem with this style is that the most common use of it is the MMD music dance videos so you gotta sort through all the Iwara stuff to find something.
At least Wildeer has delivered multiple long form videos between his excuses. Vici's got like Mona Slime and has been milking that ever since.

People are different. They support anythink what they like. Doesn't matter if it's good or bad. Personally i don't think it's worth support them for now. Propably they have enough resources to produce and work on it fulltime. They got 25680-42800 dollars per month from 8560 people. I guess this money are not final cut and they need propably pay other thinks like fees and taxes, so hypothetically if they got for example 34000 from patreons and get only 40% from it, then they got 13600. With split for each 6800 dollars.
Patreon takes ~15-16% that accounts for their 5% transaction fee and additional processing fees. So even if they were in the top 1% highest tax rate in America, they would not lose an additional 45% to the government.
Even by your generous estimate (choosing the middle, when it leans closer to the upper range since Patreon tells us the highest sub is the more popular) and assuming they have the highest personal income tax rate in the country and applied it to their entire income which isn't how taxes work, Kitsune could take his cut and hire a professional Hollywood post production audio house to edit the whole thing in less than a week (takes about 1-1.5hrs to edit and do sound design per 1 minute of a full dialogue film with a music track) and still have money left over to buy a kilo of cocaine at current street prices (according to US DEA). And this is with every calculation and assumption in their favor.
That's why it's a scam. Because anyone who actually knows even a little bit about A/V post production could tell you their excuses are bullshit. Even if Kitsune was only doing 1 hour of work per day, there's no reason for it to take over 2 months if they were truly working on finalizing audio.

It's not only porn industry. It is everywhere. The difference is only you most of time just buy game and that's it. In porn you have mostly subscribe. Many people just don't bother cancel it even they not no longer fans, but hey it's only 1-3 dollars, who cares? Well that's a problem. With this mentality get together hundrends or thousands people and you have infinity money for long time without worrying.
Anyway people have own mind. You can have evidence and they will still try defend artist. And i don't think they need more money. I support artist, if i know they have regular content or i know their status. Vicineko is one of them, but it look more like excuse. I can be tolerated with slow progress, but there is limit.

Vicineko may provide status updates at the very least, but often times it is as you said, also seeing kitsune recent replies to tweets regarding this makes it seems they think they're not doing anything wrong when in fact they're just not doing good communication between his fans. They have the stereotype of "I'm doing my hardest in my work it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as I keep saying the same excuses" type shit.

It's funny how he adds fischl x slime as an exception to provide detailed status updates in the future, so there's the possible sign of milking the people dry with this specific project.
