Just stumbled across this thread by accident. And I love when things like this happen.

I found that forum, but when I saw that people actually giving out all my images for free I was really sad.

The artist came in, more or less asked why people weren't buying, people were honest and some constructive even offering suggestions for what they WOULD buy, and he more or less went "well tough", probably followed all of the links of the thread (and watches it to see new threads) and then requests they be taken down.

That'd be my guess. Killed the good will of the people who would support him and is looking to the now rather than the future. His real hangup should be with AI, not the minute percentage of people who download leaks.

I don't think so. For a conversation with a group of freeloaders, Viper sounded rather open-minded. This conversation could have gone much worse.

Yeah and I'm not a big fan of using and thereby supporting Patreon. All his other Venues that I know have been shut down.
So something would have to basically have to really interest me to jump my shadow and buy on Patreon.
And right now there just isn't anything that interesting to me that I don't already have.

That's entirely fair. I have taken another look at this Patreon and tbh none of the characters since the Ahsoka/Padme set (which, in itself, leaned too much into the uncanny valley for me, with the combination of movie-accurate Padme and Clone Wars Ahsoka) interested me whatsoever either.

Agreed in this world people are corrupted by money forgetting about people's good will ,The big mistake is Ai use under the "deep fake" explanation that is bannable on patreon or on other socials ?.... Im sorry but his art style is not too realistic or similar to negisaray that was so close to deepfakes that got banned on many socials including patreon , 2nd probably reason is for what people WOULD buy since he was making some characters that I didnt know about , Star Wars set is gonna be my best one from Viiper.

he needs to re-think situation about Ai use since it throw away some good supporters from him.
