Hey dev, any plan in adding a shapeshifter LI in this sequel? I found the lack of shapeshifters in a superhero VN to be fairly severe...

This game brings up some good points about intelligence or the lack of intelligence. Also, it makes me think of Star Trek and the way its society evolved from ours.

Thanks and good luck.

Do you need to play the 1st one to understand this? I liked the premise but gave up on the first one as it was a sandbox. This part 2 is tagged as VN.
It'll probably be pretty straight forward, but I will admit I love the story in part 1, and hope this game delivers with the same quality of writing and renders/animations.

Kind of liked the game. Visually looks good. Main story was intriguing.

What made the writing so hard to enjoy was how weirdly retarded the future people were. The constant need to repeat things makes these people feel like they have a brain damage, not just knowledge problem. And if the MC is so damn smart, why does he speak like a buddhist monk trying to hide secrets of the universe. Would it be more natural for him to adjust his communication style to the level of the person he is speaking with? Unless the game is supposed to be a comedy. But the violence and seriousness of the story did not give comedy vibe, even if the conversations were goofy. Also sex scenes were just background noise, even if they visually were pretty good.

Maybe if the story would have same undertone whole time, it would not feel this "off".

Liked the bearded look made him look like a professor. Gotta say the alley choice scene was refreshing. The choices you make can change a scene so far it has got my attention. Though i have to ask smoked when I was playing were there odd AI moments. Swear the visuals changed a few times. Especially at the museum.

This game plays like Anime or comic book movies: MC is reverted to his villain persona, despite telling us all there were decades of peace and prosperity with him as a hero at the helm - turns out he was still a geek, simply churning out inventions, while his very brainy and devoted minions—absolutely fabulous women, actually—did the social networking behind the scenes to make it work. MC is no tony Stark to smooth over both his allies and his enemies, he can barely woe a woman or two for a good time.
Because this is comics and anime inspired - if MC is a villain, he will trip over himself and all by himself sabotage his own plans.
MC changed reality for the worse, MC lost his own invention, MC is back being the outcast rebel while lacking the fire from the first game.

I understand. Maybe i was just confused, as in some parts the MC did act like a silly cartoon character and in some parts he was charismatic main character. The shifting tone does make it harder to emotionally invest or understand the story´s intended mood.

I don’t recall any of the most memorable anime I’ve seen having this problem. Maybe they just set the tone better early on, when is the goofy time and when is the serious time. Or maybe I´m just emotionally handicapped and didn´t notice the difference in tone. We can´t all be above average on everything.

Thanks to the Dev - VL2 should be hopefully as good as the first part, because i loved the first one. Humor, irony and a funny story - what do you need more to have a good time - OK: Girls... ;)
If you just take it as a partly weird story with a crazy touch and not being so serious... - I had a lot of fun playing Part 1.
So, if part 2 has the same claim, it's definitely worth a shot !
I'll try and hope of some fun aund hot girls...
