For some context, I used pesadilla's deduplicator to remove hair, cloth and morph dupes and that dependency list is from his dependencymapper. I didn't really know what to make of it but I already have that Iris Reflection it turns out, yet it stills shows that corneasd1.vam is missing. So I need that 3dnudeart.genyreworked var I guess?? I havent even found a slight hint of it existing anywhere.

I have Alter3go.Gemma_3.1 and Alter3go.Gemma_3_0.1. I put that alice vmi in custom/atom/person/morphs/female_gen but after another scan it still says it's missing. I guess I need those var files that contain the missing item? or is there something else I need to be doing? idk

If u used pesadilla's deduplicator than that morph it exist to some other var file and while vam can see the morphs with just the names it is strange that is not working.

you can do this but i don't recommend it now,

you can do this but i don't recommend it now,

i have no idea what im doing so im not even going to attempt that atm lol

another one i was missing was doubledipdelish.matt. I found splines matt somewhere but its not a var. I stuck it in vam anyway as its still all the same files as far as I know, but dependencymapper still says im missing those files

another is ark1f1s wren and violet look. mapper says they're missing a whole host of stuff and that I need the .latest var.. but I already have them

Well thats easy its because of the PATH, i only had this problems with those pesky corneaSD1 clones

Your VAM is looking for:
custom/clothing/female/irisreflection/corneasd1.vam

While the real ones are in:

Custom/Clothing/Female/Oeshii/CorneaSD1/CorneaSD1.vam

So one clever person thought it would be amazing to rename the clothes and distribute them LOL, the format for the custom clothes is Custom/Clothing/(SEX Female/Male/Neutral)/(Author)/(Description)/(item).vam

So this clever guy said "fuck it!" and rename the folders then thought this is amazing im going to share this with the world (the same Stenzelo did).

The solution is simple i will add this to my PDD and when i update it just run it all again, and problem solved... you wont need this pesky dependency.

Some of the VARS you need are mistakes you can see "alter3go.[alter3go]_gemma_3_0.latest.var" alter3go never release his VARs this way, someone changed the names of his VARS and forgot about it, then made a look that needed those VARS and now you dont have it because only that person has it, in your case i would just edit the json to the correct path and be done with it

I understand now why you think that, i respect the effort you made, and with all due respect i tell you that i dont think that approach is the best one, extracting things out of the VARs and changing things to work with your "cleaned" directories, i took the liberty to download your tool and it has it merits and seems like a lot of work but i just dont think that method is the best, i believe each one has his own way of doing things, i believe my method is proving successful and everyone that has tried it eneded up with a faster vam (boot time, opening hair/clothes tab inside person), lighter (it reduces space not increase it like yours)

Well, I have no idea how Vamifier could increase the space used if it is deduping components by hashes. The big problem with VAM is you have a lot of duplicated components with their ids (or names changed). So unless you do look for hashes, you end up with a lot of same content under different names or ids.
