Hey guys, I am a Noob and my username says so.
I had been checking out porngames for vr and stumbled here. However, it seems that it is too complex from my many hours of scouring through both this forum and the content one which was closed. Afew questions for which I hope someone kind will an answer to and not shitpost my noobness.
1. Is there like a guide or something? All this modding jeez. I read VamX has them.
2. If I wanted to get VamX only (also confused as to exactly what pertains to VamX, is it like a one stop collection mod or like I dunno), How do I sift it out if everything is packed together in the 2020 content pack. And what about the latest versions?
3. Is VamX the complete collection of whatever is created?
If you were talking to a very simple noob, how would you suggest in short dumbed down points on what I have to do in a sequence. Also, is the quality like upto par ie. 3090 par?

Updated with missing releases, Booty2Lap Vol 3, Booty2Lap Vol 4, and Go Back Home

Notably updating this since last October I noticed several items no longer available on hub, such as hair and clothing, from creators being banned from redistroing daz3d items or removing themselves all together.
Only assets included are ones called for in json. Such as only needing a 10 meg stocking out of a 400 meg .var off hub.
Inflated sizes on newer releases are mainly out of large texture sizes from using pogdaddy releases and 1 use background asset.
Most notably for this archivable collection it's a 1 container archive with no dependencies. All releases have been named with a [CGS] prefix to remain grouped together in vam browser, as well as custom jpg thumbnails. Which I still don't understand why he releases an icon image that is pitch black most of the time with no relation to what the scene is about.

can I ask the group a question? I just can't get it to mix when I have two different looks. But not completely but only partially. For example, I have a look where I think the ass is absolutely perfect but the tits are just too big for me or don't have the right shape. Now you can play around with the morphs but you don't get a decent result. Most of the time, if you try to reduce the size of big tits with breast morphs, they just become ugly. If I now have a look where the breasts are great and just want them on the body with the nice ass, it's just not possible to get them.
If I look at the active morphs, there are often no active breast morphs at all. And which one of the hundreds breast morphs I have is responsible for that? Morph Merger and BodySwap somehow don't work because they also change too much from the rest of the body. If you want small breasts with a BBW body, for example, the whole body usually becomes thinner. How can I do that?
And the head as well. How do I get a head I like on another body without changing the whole body or face?

There's a handy checkmark for "active morphs"
It lets you see which morphs are active.
You can then return the ones that you think are the culprit in the active list to default settings, and that usually does the job, bar a few small tweaks after.
Yes, I know there is a checkbox. But very often no breastmorphs are active at all, that's what surprises me. And that although the looks have very special breasts.

Give us an example of a VAR you're seeing this with. I have come across this when people used the old morph merger plugin, it would group a bunch of morphs together.

You can't "play" Virt-a-Mate, it's not a game, it's a sandbox to create your own scenes/looks. Or download scenes/looks etc. others have shared. Check out

Each to their own. It's the best adult VR experience you can get as of today though. Just saying.
Hopefully VAM 2 implements many of the 3rd party plugins into the base, right now using it to full potential requires a ton of plugins and it doesn't help that newer versions of plugins aren't backwards compatible so you end up having 20 versions of the same plugin with each scene using different one, doesn't help that plugins are a big security issue, the game also needs to be optimized more and it would help if it came with better built in animation editor where you can not only use timeline but also modify existing animations the game lacks in addition to procedural stuff too. It isn't the easiest to use, way easier than proper 3D packages but still tricky, no wonder average porn player doesn't want to "play" it, it simply takes too long to set up your own scenes.

yes agree and ... i enjoy last version of vam.. so many plugins for explorer our skill .
