Unity Virt-A-Mate [v1.22.0.3] [Meshed VR]
There has always been a desktop mode (i think). So no, you don't need a VR setup for this.
So how do I download the game? Do I need to download all four parts and extract them together? When I try to extract just one it says it is part of a multi-volume archive, so do I just put all four parts into one folder and extract that?
If not mistaken, the download links are for an older version. You should download the VAM_Updater and follow the instructions here
You must be registered to see the links
, unzip and run it, which takes a while depending on your system and connection speed. When the install is completed, enter the appropriate key code from the first post in this thread. The creator key for the latest version is the one you want.FYI, it isn't exactly a game and has a bit of a learning curve, but there is a lot of content for it and has a lot of potential.

Hi! Im new on this and im trying to use the VAMupdater.exe but i have this error. Anyone knows how to fix this, any response would be greatly appreciated.
You should create a dir. ie. C\Vam.. copy VaM_Updater.exe into it. Then run VaM_Updater.exe from that dir..

Is it safe to delete my "VaM\Cache" folder to free diskspace ?

Yes, but only delete textures folder or else you'll need to permit every single plugin again.

There is no need to “delete” the folder. Inside vam in the preferences there is a button for clearing the cache as well as options for moving the cache to other locations which might not be as memory limited.

Is there a way to make clothing items collide with other clothing items?

None. You can increase thickness to offset or play with physics settings from body to try and diminish clipping but no collision between clothing with other clothing or to hair.

So ... ehrm... we chill here after the ""Virt-A-Mate Mod Assets: Clothing,Environments,Objects,Scenes,Looks,ect." is closed (for f*** and stuipd reason IMHO)???
They will just end this one as well. Seems to me like there is just a stubborn person in charge and its their way or no way. We weren't doing anything wrong that even affects them. It only drives traffic here, all they can do is benefit from it, yet blind to see it until its wrecked by him/them.
I'd wait until 2 comes out before investing cash in a new gpu. VAM sucks on any GPU because the problem has always been its SINGLE THREAD CPU USE.. So that nice multicore CPU in your machine there, yeah VAM only uses one of those cores! Lame but he claims with the release of 2 thats fixed in the game engine he uses. We shall see.
See my other reply in regards to VAM and why its not your computer.Just a quick ask; I'm running on a 1660 Ti, my frames are great on Desktop but hot garbage even on the lowest settings on my Quest 2. This just my specs or is there something I should be looking for to help gain me some Frames in VR
SO just so everyone knows, I have an i9 CPU with a RTX 3090. My gaming machine oozes power, and my electric bill shows it each month. In vam my performance is no better than what i was getting with an i7 with a 1080GTX.. So don't waste your hard earned money thinking your new GPU upgrade is going to fix your shitty vam performance because it WONT!!! It will take them actually using more than 1 single stinking cpu core and moving some of the math off to the GPU (like modern games do) for you to see any real performance bump. This is a software/game engine related problem and wont get fixed until meshed releases 2 (AS LONG AS ITS ACTUALLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE DAMN IMPROVEMENTS!!)

ok i am new to this and downloaded the main version here on the Page without any extras (i guss .. used the link on first page) and i downloaded some scenes as well. but when i enter the "game" the Scene is static with any animation..how can i get the animation to start or do i need some other stuff for it to act?
