Close the game
Set your desktop resolution to 800x600
Run the game

Universal trick that improves performance on 90% of games. Maybe it still won't be enough, but maybe it will, worth a shot.

I'm not sure If I'm doing something wrong or not , but the game is not running in English. Is there a patch I'm missing somewhere , or does it just not have a translation at all ?

After you get swallowed by the snake, lose to a slime with Vivi for the first scene.
Clear the inside of the snake area until you need to jump down the big hole. Then just stop moving and get caught by the approaching wall. Don't restart from checkpoint when it switches to Monaca and just let it play out, then you get a movie scene.

I thought the game was bugged when it showed the prev cutscenes not knowing it was a different one, so i always skipped it.
