This game is an unplayable mess.

1. Boss battle is impossible on Tripteen unless you have at least a dozen trauma packs. So if it's a scripted you must lose than don't let us waste items on trying to win the battle.
2. If your playing this on first time through I don't see how anyone can defeat that boss. Since 0.6d the game quests are all reset so you have a quest you can't finish which is the starter quest.
3. After finishing Tripteen game soft locks at a Black Screen

You are not on the latest version, all these issues have been fixed.
Boss fight is not scripted, plenty of people have no issues.

hello dev, ive got a small problem, so i had 6d version installed unaware of the update and the back to setek bug where quest wouldn't update, so i installed the 6i version and i casually passed the 6d save file to 6i(i was right at the moment of going back to setek), now the quest is updated as completed and shows 68% completed, however when viewing the quest log entry, there is no new quest shown, do you happen to have a save file at around that time to solve this?

There is not a way around it yet, we added a checker for if you return to setek (basically leaving and entering again.)
But we will include a debug menu in the next update, so you can manually check off quests that are buggy in the interface, while also adding most quests to the log as well.
You can also upload your save here and we can manually update it real quick.

is there a rough completion date for the game? I played until a bad end on the fungus world and really enjoyed the story but I don't want to play too far when it's not complete. I'm not one to replay a game with so much story and world building over and over. I'd like to wait until it's finished so I'm wondering if I'm looking at waiting months or years at this point.

We would say around 80% of the story.
We got 2 more story planets that we planned (that includes the endings)

We will focus on them after we have finished the bigger side quest with space orcs (Going to be released after a few smaller updates), so we have the story fully finished.

Two questions after I completed the dream sequence after Xaide:
(1) What am I supposed to do? I ended up in the spaceport area but the quest log doesn't say where to go or what to do.
(2) I then jumped to another planet to explore but now cannot get back to Henosis. On the star map, can only click Xaide or Tripteen.

2. How many hours of content does the early access version currently have?
3. How many hours of content will the final product contain?
4. When will Voidbound be considered complete enough to get out of early access?

1. That is fully up to you, the game has a big story focus, so I can understand if you want to wait and play it one go. Some people like to play it in early access and then in full so they can see all the changes. But everyone is different.

2. Hard to tell, but if I look at some of the save files from various players, the count was 20h+. I would say you can can get at least 15 hours and more out of it.

3. Can't tell, more than the early access for sure

4. Once the full storyline is in. We plan to support the game past full release with free content updates.

5. Game has some voice acting already, not just moans. We plan to have at least the H scenes fully voiced, but that is not 100% set yet.

I'm mainly on the fence because I've played Subverse before (great game by the way) and I'm still waiting for the 1.0 version to be released. I've got at least 30 hours into it, though it'll probably be more after it's complete. I might play the early access version of Voidbound if it's estimated playtime is somewhere between 10 to 30 hours worth of content.

Towards your question on preggo, thicc/chubby or milf content.
It exists in the game but more towards endings, may that be bad endings or good endings. It won't be there as part of a game mechanic. We are trying to explore the idea of using VR to create services that would still work in character and lore wise, without the need of endings. But long story short, Caly has went through at least 2 of them in the current version

Towards the voice acting, it will be english voice acting, PixieWillow is lending her voice to Caly. The first intro sequence is fully voice, but due to budget constraints, we won't be able to voice act the whole game, but have to limit it to scenes itself.

I found a way to fix graphical bugs in this game when using MaldiVes emulator. As you know, the performance in the JoiPlay emulator drops significantly during VN segments and location exploration. While MaldiVes offers much better performance, there are graphical glitches like black bars and other issues that can't be fixed by adjusting options, even when using MaldiVes' premium features.

I discovered that the same graphical glitches started appearing in JoiPlay when I turned off the "Downscale Large Bitmaps" option. This led me to search the entire forum for the phrase "large bitmaps." Eventually, I found a thread here for another game that suggested a solution.

I followed the proposed fix for MaldiVes by unzipping the attached archive and copying the files, replacing the existing ones. Miraculously, this solution worked, and I can now play the game in MaldiVes without any graphical glitches.
