I played ep1, until I wasn't able to do new things. i'm sure with some quest not Started: Because I Started ep2 and when game asks me how i played, one question is about a girl with 3 choice (Let Her Go, tell guards... and punish her).
in my play in ep1 i never encountered this girl. What was needed to trigger that event?
That is the thief who you see first when she tries to break into your room at night. You have the option of inviting her in and doing the nasty, and she is gone in the morning and your purse is a little lighter. You then can get a quest from the town about a thief and you find her in the look around option at the Saturday festival. If you pick let her go, she leaves but comes to your room that night for some going away sex.
For those who have messed up with Ilga after buying her the dress, the way that one works is instead of hanging around town waiting for the festival to start, you need to be a gentleman and meet her at her house and escort her to the festival. It is worth it for the quick flash at the end of the day when you bring her home.
The river nymph quest is locked behind a RNG conversation when you are in jail. If you don't get the right conversation you won't know about her.
General thoughts about episode 1:
Interesting story, great graphics, confusing quest logs. Some of the missing quests are simply the random bounty quests you get from the town or by listening at the tavern.
I don't know if trying to get Kagera's hunter's lodge scene will block out romancing her daughter. I was able to get the threesome scene with the barmaid and the guard before I got the solo scene with the barmaid.
For those who messed up on Ilga, it is probably too late for you to fix but as a general rule, the 6 autosaves are there so you can correct mistakes if you haven't gone too far past the choice you want to correct.
There is no point in spending money to equip armor or upgrade your sword or grinding for level increases past level 10 at this point as even with the export save import save mechanic for episode 2, it sets your level to 10 and throws away all extra equipment and you need to purchase it all again. What it will do is allow you to keep any money you have accumulated, but the default ep 2 starting value is 1500 so it only makes sense if you have over that saved.
A quest is finished for now if you get a message about shouldn't you be working on your mission?
Thoughts about episode 2:
Definitely a work in progress. I hate the QTE stuff. I usually play on my laptop with a touch pad and it took quite some time to get through the first battle. When it came to the boat sneaking, there would have been no way for me to hit the 12! targets in the first section without moving to an actual mouse. They say that the QTE is here to stay but they are going to nerf the final boat battle.
Once again, great graphics and animations. I don't mind the new combat system, but the balance still needs to be adjusted. The game really isn't free roam at this point. I spent quite some time in a morning period grinding enemies and raising my level until I maxed out and eventually I had to hit the wait button to move the story along.
Interrogation scenes almost always say does your uncle have any enemies in the list of questions even though the baron is only the uncle to Sarah. My game also stops after the bath scene and sex with the baron's sister.
I like the way the vampires seem to want to be nude in front of him all this episode. And as an aside, anyone who kills them instead of taking advantage of the opportunities to keep them alive, isn't playing the game for the sex scenes. Eliminating sexy girls because they may want to kill you seems short sighted. Because more likely, they will want to sex you up, and thinking endgame, you may need all the allies you can get to defeat the final boss.
