The single biggest sin in this game is the disabled rollback option.
Sometimes you click to fast. Sometimes you click a choice without meaning to.
Sometimes you make the wrong choice and want to fix it.

And sometimes you Think you're supposed to find her at the fair, so you go there instead of her house, can't go back and get her, and you get journal warnings that she is going to be upset and hurt.

I wish people who made renpy games would stop fucking with the games functions and allow rollback. All disabling rollback does is either
A) force constant and obsessive saving and reloading
or
B) piss someone off when they miss something important, and don't have a convenient save to go back to to fix the problem.

And, despite my obsessive saving, I don't have one immediately before the situation I missed, and my last before that is old.

It's enough to make me say "fuck it" and turn off the game. Just leave the damned rollback alone!

And now the game entirely broke on me.

I reloaded an old save, as I can't role back, played the scene I wished to play properly, and continued the game.

A few minutes later, I Killed the ogre and went to see the magistrate, before being attacked and arrested.
So, while having the option to have a conversation or go to bed, I chose to converse, but I saved first.
Curious how other options would play out, I made two saves.
After conversing, I went to load my game.
It loaded me, not to where I saved, but to a dancing scene at the fair.
This happened with both saves, and auto-saves. Despite the thumbnail showing me in the prison cell, the load always took me back to a random dance at the fair.

So, saving and loading is now broken for me.

I'm sorry, I'm done.
I'm intrigued in the story, and the girls are beautiful...
but the sex, despite gorgeous models and great animation, is boring, generic, "get the guy off" stuff, without foreplay or focus on getting her off, ever....
And the save system is entirely broken, making the game unplayable.

16,5k words and 555 renders are ready right now for the next update.

As for the timing, I can say the following:

I’ve decided to add one more event on top of the planned ones
because I think this event is necessary. By the way, it will be an erotic one.
Whoever is against that, let him throw the first stone at me.
True, it will not change much, but you can at least scold me.
An emotional branch in the story was also made, it will add a decent amount of work to us.
As I’ve said earlier, we have already decided on the final form of the update,
now we are filling it with content.
I remember I wanted to release the update in a couple of months after episode 1,
but at that time I wanted to make a 7-8k word update.
However, as you work, you begin to see the picture clearer and understand that you
still need to finish “this and that”.
The most important emotions come from seeing things for the first time.

Looks like her quest is temporary. She will be permanently gone if you ask for her services worth 50 gold. So, if you don't want her gone, do not ask for that last service.

I can understand that those who find this game a mediocre one, are not willing to start from beginning again and again.

But for those who like this game (I definitely do), there is good news.
At steam, Void's Calling has the newest version, thats v1.0.3a.
It is only 5,69€ there (minus 10% at the moment).

My thinking is: When I give my time and energy into a project for a new playthrough, I prefere to do it with the newest and most advanced version.
(I support this dev at patreon already, but I also like to support him at steam - with humble money and - more important - an excellent review!).
