VN Ren'Py Voreocracy [v0.40] [Voreronika]

C'mon it's almost six months since last update, I know lads who made games during a 3-day hackathon.
This game will simply turn into a pet project that dev return to for a week 2-3 times a year at best, almost no diffrenet then abandoned.

While I'm of the similar mindset, from what I've heard they have a patreon-only Discord where a lot of testing goes on. No clue if that's true though, you'll have to see what their Patreon says.

I believe 0.38 -> 0.39 took a year. Voreronika hasn't said anything since late Feb. on their Patreon, and their Eka Portal page no word as well. I know Voreronika said somewhere they have a full-time job and the person(I don't know if they are a he or she) had to do some overtime work as well. So I'm guessing the developer just hasn't had time to work on the game.

The negative with games like these, if a developer gives no word for a long time(many months) then it's a possibility the game is dead. You just can't go something like 6+ months without much said and expect the game to still continue.

It's likely real-life has horribly bricked their progress (especially more depending on where the two are in the world) so until we get an update, we'll have to wait and hope.

It would be a shame if that's it for this game. Honestly not hoping much because the odds are heavily against this game being updated with no progress updates. If there are no progress updates, that is how a game loses itself because subs/followers lose interest.

Some would say it might be premature, but I feel this game should get the abandoned label.

I keep tabs on discord. There might be some hope left, as the male creator of the team just recently chatted a bit on discord. Financial challenge is going on for the person, so lack of motivation and time to work on the game right now. I would say maybe check back in 6 months(just a guess by me) and see if game progress starts up again.

I don't like vore, so I cant comment on that, instead ill give my view on the writing etc.

In the games lore its said that cannibalism helped reduce the food shortage, but those who indulge in vore eat even more food whn hungry, so it infact depletes resources more of the world overall. This loophole can be solved by saying they can no longer eat normal food/ their appetite is not affected whn they do it.

I get that all of vore scenes with u as victim end badly, but atleast give a good reason whn ur stepmom/ lover eats u. they call u a pervert and that u deserve to be eaten whn u spy on them but they get off on cannibalism . Its funny I guess.

I know this game is most likely abandoned/ on hold but i thought ill leave this suggestion just incase.

Not anytime soon; the Patreon has seen no new activity from the developers since February, due to some irl things that have been going on, but they've been deleting negative comments from their Patreon.

Would take a guess and say this is on-hold for now, but hope to be wrong.

Maybe the only vore game i care about, the dystopian world in his absurdity seems alive and the way some of the girls offer themselves to be eaten is very exiting to me and i repeat i'm not into vore but the mood of the game is that good.Personally after the melon training i can't wait for the first proper meal of our mc.I really hope this game will continue.best of luck devs!

Honestly no one really knows right now. Think of this as Schrödinger's Cat(Google it if you don't know about it). In this case Voreocracy is both dead and alive at the same time. It's a matter of Voreronika opening the top of the box to reveal if the game is dead or alive.

Unless the developer ends up on another hiatus, then no it won't be till Spring '26! Before the developers hiatus, she had already done work on version .40. On her Discord for the game, she showed some game progress so fall/winter is a reasonable time frame.
