It would be more appropriate to compare this situation to when we write to the creators of any visual novel that you want the game to have fewer significant story choices, and Fusionzone or I want more of them. But I think it's not too unreasonable to expect from a game advertising itself as netorase, more elements indicating that this is a joint and thoughtful decision of both spouses, where both feel comfortable and confident with it.
