Honestly if saxy continues like this and doesn't introduce the element of surprise and some risk the game will become borderline stale

Yes, I agree all the changes Saxxy made were just small things. Just because a few people here on F95 were unhappy, concluding that Saxxy made big changes because of that is a bit much. Especially considering there was hardly any drama on their Discord or Patreon.
This is how Netorase Phone is like now. It's been the same thing for like the past several updates.
And that game right now is the most boring and lame game out there i seriously hope saxy reconsiders and changes this path he is on this game has so much potential it would be a waste to become nts phone 2.0 he should look back at the co worker update that one was a banger

Here for the monthly reminder that:
1) Saxxonado can't write proper sex scenes
2) Around 80% of the scenes in this supposed Netorase game are Vanilla scenes.
3) Out of the 3 Netorase scenes with actual sex, 2 of them were extremely boring and short scenes, with piss-poor pacing, trash tier dialogue and low tier overall writing that fails to illustrate the scene to viewers.

Honestly I'd rather he just did vanilla with nts pillow talk cuz the nts attempts all flopped for me. No hate on him just that's what made me think well of this one in the first place. The moment another dude actually got involved it dropped the ball every time, and it was ammies actions that made it so.

If I were to summarize my thoughts on VR right now it would be that: The art is so gorgeous that it makes us forget the narrative issues with this game. Don't get me wrong, there are some very hot moments and Amelia's teasing is nicely done. The problem is lack of focus and lack of tonal consistency. Amelia shifting from one bull to another also does not help developing the plot and makes it feel like one of those "monster of the week" tv shows. I would have prefered the original idea of Geist being the main bull (while she could fuck others on occasion) and exploring their relationship. Finally, like the other user said, sex scenes are lacking, mainly because they are written in a linear fashion, instead of building up towards a climax, like real sex does. The lack of sound effects, especially cumming, also compounds this perception.
I agree 100%.In nts games i believe it hits much harder when there is one main bull at least in the beggining.It just feels more intimate and i believe it expresses the netorase concept better.Of course i speak about the initial stages when she gets corrupted.Later on dev can do w.e he wants gangbangs orgies or whatever
How about you switch to another game that has pillow talk i don't think anyone wants something like that but hey who am i to judge just move on from this game will ya cause real nts is not for you
That jack guy had potential and good chemistry with her shame they moved on if he got bolder and bolder we who have had something hot on our hands
I get bored when it's just the same dude like in most of these games, so I think her shifting from person to person is fine honestly. Though having a recurring one would be nice to add some more depth.
The vacation chapter was well done. Jack was a good first for the NTRS and the build up was great.
The chapter with Ame's co-worker was great and the spiciest scene the game has. It struck a great balance with pushing it into kinkier territory and not taking it too far where it starts slipping away from NTRS and the tone the games trying to have.
Then we get to Brandon and it gets really bland. He himself is essentially a sentient fetish and nothing else. The bathroom scene was decent, but the most recent one just felt half hearted. Even with it having the most "spice" surrounding it. Spying from a closet, the bull thinking Ame's cheating on her husband, mild cheating teasing etc. All that and it was still ok at best. Being honest I don't think Saxy really cares about the whole "QoS" type of NTRS ( I dont' either) and that's why this felt so mid. It felt like it was just done to appease the people who want that content and because it's just a trope these games have.
Other than that, the issue the game has is that it basically skipped most of the "kinkier" testing the water phase. So when she's acting shy about other people seeing her in public after she just throated a dude in the gym it comes off as tonally inconsistant. The scene in the park would have been great if a guy actually saw her and they let him grope her and set-up some future public stuff with him. Would have been perfect to set-up up a dogging scene and start the group sex stuff. There's a balance you need to keep with NTRS, but we're past the "new to this" phase. Even if this game is going to be long as fuck, the pace need to start picking up when it comes to the kinkyness.
Never really got why people liked Geist though. Guy was way to aggressive at the start and his face looks fucking weird.
Even with the complains this game is one of my favorites and I want Saxy to make what they want.

Agreed. Having multiple bulls is an important plot aspect for me, and it's always more fun when the author gets to cycle through different characters and personalities for bulls. Reoccurring bulls are the best of both worlds, though. It keeps it impersonal while also allowing the bulls to have some actual development. Like having different paths depending on which bull you choose to keep using.
And, yeah, Geist just kind of sucks. Boring personality, overly aggressive, and he kind of just felt out of place, especially with how early he was implemented into the story. Bulls that actively attempt to sabotage the relationship always ruin the experience, imo. I'm not against when bulls are more domineering, but Geist was a very poor example of it. I think a Geist-like character would work better if they came from the mafia and were presented as an antagonist with a more sinister and conspiring mindset which you'd need to foil. Maybe something to look forward to.

This game will never be the full potential of what it could have been, for the simple reason Saxxy is trying to appeal to two sides that will never agree with each other. Notice how things are here, each update, what makes one side enjoy the update, makes the other side hate it and vice versa. Theoretically you could have two completely different paths in this game, but in practice we know that this is not what is happenning. I say, if you wanna make a game be a wholesome sharing game do it, and if you wanna make a maso hardcore cuckolding game, do it. But choose one and stick to it, trying to please both sides ends up not pleasing anyone for real.

We may have our disagreements on other things but I agree with you here. I think adding more characters and diversifying would have been more appropriate later into development. Also "monster of the week tv show" is genuinely funny as well as accurate...
Still very fond of the art and the main couple, and I think apart from it having its issues, it still has potential and I think a lot of what it suffers from now can and probably will be remedied in the future.
I agree that the spice feels mostly gone because Amelia has kind of already been there, done that, but from a narrative standpoint, I'm not sure I know the best solution for this kind of story, given this kind of character. With a shy wife who needs a push every step of the way, it's very easy to generate excitement, but with someone so open like Amelia, after her first time Jack, and the way that she was totally down with fucking the coworker like that, where do you go from there? They milked the public exposure stuff pretty thoroughly with Brandon, but it still made the sex boring.
I don't want to recycle this tired discussion, but in the dom vs sub talks in the past, people into the sub/masochistic action usually criticize dom/vanilla people saying they just want the wife to do as she's told like she's a robot, and that's why it's not exciting. But I feel like that's kind of what Amelia has turned into. Like, yes, she's going out and suggesting the bulls and making things happen, but she's offering zero friction. She's just saying yes to everything, playacting the whole time, and it feels like none of this is affecting her. I think that's what makes the action feel boring.
For me at the moment I think NT00's Yumi might provide the best reference for how this could've been done better. Instead of Amelia being down for everything and fully committing to the cheating wife bit, if she were more mercurial and aggressive with the bulls sometimes, I think that could spice it up a lot. Being like no, you can't do that, or hurry up, I need to be somewhere, or shut up, don't talk about my husband like that. Her pushing back against the MC would be nice too. More personality, more vulnerability, more change.
