I'm surprised to read a lot of comments about how the game is so boring or vanilla and all that. I think they're all missing the point of the game: Vulgar Reverie tries to give a "realistic" cuckold experience (I know we have all the mafia part that's very strange). So we have all those reclamation scenes and slow narrative pace because Saxonado is trying to portray a cuckold story similar to what real cuckold couples live irl (and yes, those couples do this slowly and carefully, giving each other a lot of love and reassurance along the way so everyone enjoys the fetish).
P.S.: If you don't like the game and Saxonado's work, just take the characters and write your own fanfics or even cyoa novels. The community (myself included) would love to see how YOU would write this story and your crazy hot nts ideas!

No, but Saxo said we would have sketches last week so... I guess we'll have them this week!
apparently saxonado's page got updated on kemono but i can't seem to pinpoint just what was the update

Here are the key points:
-Patreon introduced "teams", Karman can now also make posts on their patreon page, etc.
-Saxonado was promoted at his IRL worplace. New duties have led to overtime and less time available to work on VR. Which has led him to:
-Plan on reducing intervals between releases (with the same amount of art), albeit briefer progress on the story itself (from what I understand).
-No release date for 0.16 yet but promises its release "very soon", along with the addition of another animation.
My own takeaway is that his new plan to release shorter updates with same art sounds great, but the question is if it will work in practice as well as he believes it will in theory. Remains to be seen, I guess. Let's hope for the best!

Great this game keeps getting better and better
Pros: scenes will have more dynamics to them if all the art in the update goes to 1 scene instead of 2 as it is now, and will feel much longer and fulfilling (I think this will be very good tbh) — I'm assuming what Saxx means as "briefer progress" is 1 instead of 2 sex scenes together with less story progress, and this can very much be a wrong assumption of mine.
Cons: shorter playtime in the update.
Tho as long as the story itself does not suffer (with the exception of "taking longer" to progress as in needing more updates), I think the positive side of this change will be much better overall.
And if there's really one scene per update (again just my assumption alone), we really need to give up on the "reclaiming" scenes, they already make new updates feel mid for reducing the actual NTS scenes to half. Now if there's as much reclaiming scenes with this change as in a couple updates ago, there'll literally be "filler" updates in this game and even I who have never skipped any new chapter will probably end up having to skip those and the game will lose a lot of people in the long run. We are past this point for a long time already too, so this can be a final push to forget the reclaimings and focus on what matters at this stage of the game.

You make some great points; I too hope that reduced time spent on each update will not result in reduced quality when it comes to the story. I agree with you that the "de-briefing" (
) between the couple after Ammie's sexual encounters can safely be toned down/phased out at this point. Saxo has gone above and beyond to make sure we know that the couple's trust in each other goes beyond words and that Ammie would never leave Leon and vice versa. If the story keeps repeating that, it's never going to leave this arc and move on to the next. I think Saxo/Karman are aware of that and I trust that they are trying to get to the next step in the couple's explorations, now that Leon is gaining a deeper understanding of Amelia's background and her family.We don't know if Saxo only plans to change it up for now, until he has established himself in his new position at work and that it will later resume its pace or if this change is indefinite. We don't know if he knows himself. In any case, I respect that he is able to navigate these challenges in his life and make changes, instead of pausing and leaving us without an update months at a time.
Actually sounds pretty good as long as there are no disputes amongst the teams. The biggest thing missing from this game imo was not enough CGs to give more life to the scenes accompanying the writing. The writing would state so much was happening and yet it would be just one art image. Only downside is it sounds like the plot progress will slow down a little bit.
Started a new save and is beach day 3 broken for anyone else? It gives 1 error on day 2 and you can click ignore fine. But on day 3 after the dinner raps up it's completely fucked.

Should be no worries regarding the interlinking of the Patreon page, it's still only Saxo doing the writing and Karman working on the art (animator is separate), as far as I'm aware.
I've been very easy-going, but even I have to agree that the art has been lacking in certain aspects. It wouldn't hurt to see more art in those scenes we look forward to seeing. Having that said, I'm still grateful of how many characters and exposition has been introduced within just the last two updates. Let's just hope that more emphasis is put on Amelia and her 'endeavours' moving forward.
So instead of putting more time to make the game have 2 separate paths for different people we get even less on the one we already had for some quality nice really nice this will solve all the games problems in one go way to go saxy you are the goat for a reason!

Genuine question for the people wanting couples action to be phased out so the story can keep moving to the next things - what would those next things be? Aren't the couple's explorations basically done at this point? She's already fucked a few dudes, gotten dicked down in a few different ways. She hasn't gotten creampied, but condoms and contraception has never been a talking point so I don't think it would make much of a difference. Gangbangs? Do people want that for Ammie? I would think wrapping up the mafia arc would be the most natural conclusion to the story. Couple finally buys their freedom and has explored their kink, the end.

There's a great deal of things that's left to be explored sexually. The storyline was meandering around for a while and we've just got to the root of everything. There's nothing strict about how this is progressing, anything that needs to be setup can get plugged into a update at anytime. I mean sure, they could end things here, but why the fuck would anyone want that.

The only thing tethering the mafia arc was father's leash looming large. If the family goes down, or she steps up and earns her freedom, or otherwise takes her father out of the picture, then they're essentially free. I don't think she'd be one to take up the mantle since she doesn't seem to want anything to do with that life of crime, and I think she's had enough of living in fear.
Why would it not be? I think a lot of people would draw the line before gangbangs. I know "vulgar" is in the game's title, but everyone has a limit to how vulgar they want their NTS to go. Would you want it to go all the way to public toilet levels? Ammie just taking random hobo dick in public bathrooms? Full-on sex slave while husband goes pussy free? Where does it end?
