VN - Ren'Py - Waifu Academy [v0.11.0] [Irphaeus]

- This is my first ever review so bear with me.

- Waifu Academy is a great game with linear choices but the story is not bland but instead exciting and pulls you in. While not forgetting what this game is meant for which is to stimulate your sex organs which it has plenty of and does so easily.

- The variety of waifus in this game is unbelievable and I wouldn't be surprised if they add even more to the list.

- Last couple of points there is a karma system but you do not get to fully see the positive or negative effects of the karma system probably until the completion of the game.

- Overall best game I tried so far that it made me want to write a review for the first time.

It's pretty clear through the score but i'll say it anyway : this game is one of the best in development and available here if not the best actually.

Great CG, situations, a lot of girls, great pace (fast for some girls, some harder to get), no grind and various fetish.

I've said it all.

A great quality game: great graphics, enjoyable animations, intense and interesting dialogue, and intriguing plot. All of the effort of the devs is well shown. I'll say that some of leaps of logic to get the MC into certain situations are a bit stretched such as the first time Sheila comes into MCs room, but otherwise things progress at a relatively natural pace, given the very nature of this kind of game.

I've always been one to be happy watching a game grow, getting excited for new updates, imagining how the story will develop, what growth the characters will see.
Some of the Games i've watched turned out good, some mediocre, a couple got abandoned.
So, i've also seen my share of Hype Trains, so i'm not usually one to join them early on, since i've seen enough of them getting derailed hard.

Boy, i'm on board for this one, tho.
What sets this game apart from others aren't the well done character models, it isn't the japanese school setting we've come across so many times.
It's the characters and how they act on one side, having their own problems, weird oddities, even if they sometimes fall for comedy's sake into common clichés. Thankfully, this is mostly true for a couple characters you can try your best to ignore. I kind of did.
On the other side is the MC.
There aren't a lot of games which feature a MC with actual personality, goals that aren't lewd at first glance, as well as understandable thoughts and sound plans.
And he's not perfect either.
He's trying his hardest to cope with Nightmares, past humiliations and lack of allies - which he is trying to fix as best as he can, step by step.
Which makes him so much more believable than 95% of MC's i played across a number of games.

So, this is why i consider this the most exciting game around, at the moment.

TL;DR:
Character models are well done, story is good, characters (espcially the MC) are really great.
10/10.

Really interesting with a good story and the H-scenes are well made, can't wait for more and to discover the rest of the story, all the characters are fun and unique, can't wait to seduce the mom character, and the principle, i hope there will be a threesome with principle and her daughter

Seen where all of the options lead to, finish the game (this build anyway 0.5.8a) glad to see that you actually do have an option/ choice(well atleast the feeling of having an option/choice) john cenaaaaaa(it has some funny moment). story-wise it's cliche but it has threw me off a couple of times, characters are diverse with each personality

it's a really cool game, with a fun and actually engaging story, amazing scenes (and sex scenes of course), great cast, top notch 3D unity models ! 100% good stuff can't wait to see more ! I'll definitly check how to support your work, loved this game.

This game is fun as hell I never laughed so often by playing an erotic game. Each update has a lot of new content and the main story is really interesting. Each character is unique and you learn to like all of them (boys or girls). I especially love the character of Asuka. One of my favorite games I have nothing to report against it.

I love the way game give u choices to do as your bidding . like you can(spoilers) leave your class mate in a train to get raped or save them instead .

one of the best games on here, great story not just the cookie cutter seduce your mother and sister type. the writing is good and keeps you wanting more even when you dont have the time to play on. once you have played it you will be hooked and waiting for the next update to continue.

It has a great story with an actual plot, interesting characters, music, and the writing is great. The art style works really well with the story. There is quite a bit of content here already including some horror elements that elevate this above others. It is hard to classify the game since it has more of a plot than many games but more adult content than a visual novel. Whatever you want to call it, it is entertaining.

The graphics are passable, but the rest of the game is flat out excellent.
I am impressed. The characters are believable & interesting; the story is well paced and compelling; there is a good balance between players who binge through in one go and those who play for an hour or so every few weeks and need plot reminders.

It has good models; I like their hair or character design face doesn't look absurd but has it's own style(looks good) instead of nearing to uncanny vally like some other 3d-works. And it has correct body anatomy the reason why I didnt give 5 stars was although it has great shading effects and light effects i think there could be a bit improvement to make it look more real or less fake, like more of real skin structure instead of being too shiny or too murky at some places.

Just played the game in one go, the game is awesome, the girls are so cute and one can't wait to bang them. The writing is superb with added humor which doesn't feel forced or lame which happens with most games that try to be funny this way. Waiting impatiently for further content.

A game with excellent visuals, story, humor, sex, what more is there to ask for.

This is the kind of game Solvalley wishes it could be. The writing is so good, and the sex is all properly paced out, rather than being one of those games where the protag finds himself getting lucky back to back. It's definitely as believable as the creator wishes it is, to the kind of extent a porn game can have. Really easy wanting justice on a lot of these characters.

Good artistic style, good animations and, above all, very good work with the plot and the development of characters. That mixture of seriousness in the argument mixed with extravagant situations and popular references, without sacrificing the visual section, is something that many others do not bother to develop, and in the long term the difference is noticed.

Hmmm...This game has seriously good graphic, the appearance of each character is designed really well and there're indeed diversities between one to another and the animations are over the top. I won't give any further comments on them but it'd be better if devs could give male characters more attention. There should be at least a decent guy with humility and some funny dudes who like to mess around to make this world less dark as well. Besides, the MC needs a sweet and trust-worthy companion who can make a rain over his fire of vengeance and make the story less stressful. Apparently, vengeance is only solution to his pain but I'd like to see him cause as less pain to the others as possible, even the people he hates the most. But that's only from my personal point of view, I don't judge the developers. Still, there's one thing needed to be improved: The story is so straight forward and easy to predict. Instead of forcing players to do anything according to MC's calculations, there should be an option like "Nah, I don't have time for that" and that option won't put an end to the story immediately. In other words, multi-ending.

Rate: 4* for the efforts.

Update:
As for v0.5.8a, I sense something is getting better. I got cock-blocked after the 2nd match against Brooke and that's the main reason why I rushed here to give my comment an update. The cock-blocking was so good I truly felt relieved after the scene ended.

Brooke is so charming I just want to hang out with her more rather than just "ejeculate and evacuate". I'd have been truly upset if there had been more in the scene. Maybe it's just my nature that makes me dislike easy-come things, or, maybe it's because I like a game with complicated story then just a simple meet-and-fuck game, I don't know, but I love the way the game teased me.

The second thing I wanted to mention about is, the MC now knows how to feel for the others' pain and despresion and that he is willing to help them without aiming for fullfilling his lust and that's a good sign. The motivation of the dev is not clear to me yet but at this moment, I have a belief that the story will get brighter and brighter as I advance it further.

For the last thing, I don't know if it was what the dev intended to do initially or he changed his mind at last but I like the way the MC treats Asuka now. Less hate and more understanding and morever, Asuka seems to like it and that's what I always wanted to see from the beginning ! A sex slave would be the last thing I ever wanted from a school-themed game to be honest.

Great game, the renders are good the concept is good, current content is enough to dump 4 hours into. The comedy is up to date and actually will get you a couple laughs while playing. Looking forward to the progression of this one.

The most enjoyable adult game I've played. It is the only one that I have actively tried to stay updated on since I'm genuinely interested in its story. The art is fantastic, the scenes are smooth and high-quality, and the story is one that I personally find very entertaining. It's really a great game.
