It uses the number of releases type of update numbering (0.12 being the 12th update). Depends on your perspective for if it's a lot or not, I guess.

Dude last time I played this was on version 0.8 and that was in 2021, 3 years later and the game got only 6 updates since them, FUCKING 6!!! This dev sucks man, I can't believe this, there's barely anything new besides walls of useless text, this is sad because I really like the game and plot sadly
This Developer has over 1300 Patreons, he should make 5-6K a Month. That should be enough for a living or in another words, to completly focus on this Game. With that slow update schedule he is clearly saying: This idiots are paying me neverthless why should i rush?
