from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Any way to start from old saves instead of the beginning?

i would love it if someone uploaded a save that starts before the new content, i played through the last update on the gallery mod so all my saves got corrupted if someone has already uploaded a save then lmk!

Can't you reload the game while playing or it's a thing from the compressed version? Also where is the quit buttom? Back to menu doesn't appear anywhere either.

No Lain needs to update the mod for 0.7.
Why would you want the old version of the mod if it wouldn't even work properly with the updated game.

I know, the writing is surprisingly witty and the MC is very funny, in a sardonic, cynical, sarcastic smart ass way that is really funny.

im new to the game but I really like it. it's kinda cool that the MC is kinda "overpowered" cuz hes athletic, attractive to the other characters, and super smart

only complaint from me is the dialogue feels a bit unnatural when he talks formally to elizabeth and his principal in some scenes. and there a bit too many academic and cultural references that im sure not everyone understands. but overall great game and compelling story

The references are one of the best parts. I actually learn a few things, and the back and forth is pretty much Jade Empire dialogue.

Don't get me wrong, game is moderately cool but, this update feels like he worked on it for a week-two max. There are maybe few animations, some devs can make dozens more animations and faster. Dammit Irphaeus officially joins the list of milkers. I mean, 2 updates a year and I don't believe he puts more effort than part time worker for month, this is a sad reality.
