Tru Tru.At the end of the day, if you're running into this situation often, you're right VM would probably be the simplest solution - parallels or crossover are trusted options for that. If a mac user wants to play something more demanding like an unreal game that was not ported for mac, and their hardware is good enough to handle the game, setting up a windows partition with bootcamp will provide a flawless experience.
Whichever way they want to go, there are options.
And in this case I don't think it was the dev being too lazy to make a mac port, as this dev offers mac and linux as well as windows, so it's more likely that whoever is sharing the game here isn't bothering to share or create links for the other oses, don't know. I have ren'py set to port out for windows, linux, and mac, don't think I even need to reselect those options, so I just click a button to compile and it's done automatically for all three. Any dev who isn't porting their ren'py games to windows, mac, and linux either does not care about the other oses, or they really are the laziest devs in the world. Of course, I'm using a mac, so maybe if you develop on windows there's some crazy extra stuff you need to do to port out to mac, but I doubt it, since most devs here use windows and do provide mac versions. One issue I had early on was setting things up for android ports (think there were specials sdks I needed or something), and after going through the hassle to install what I needed, it did not work, and so I haven't bothered to mess with it since then (at some point in the future I'll look at again). However, someone else here made an android port, so that has been covered as an unofficial option.
you kind of get that if you do not use the drug again, but it is just a 1 and done and leaves an obvious opportunity and motive for her to get the mc back if the drug has no lasting effects... which it should not have worn off as easily given what happened to the italian woman...
- The point of the revenge the MC had to take onto Yoko was to demonstrate who is in power, put her in her place, and maybe rejoice in her feeling overpowered and losing to MC. But the MC drugs Yoko without her knowing who is he and rapes her while she's not much of a person, none of that is achieved. MC just puts himself at the same level of Kenichi paying the other guy to beat him.
Thank you for this clarification, I was confused.Especially since, for some reason, with each update, renders are renamed in a way that the skip already seen content doesn't work and players have to either click through the whole game again or skip it without knowing if the reason the game doesn't consider it already seen content is because there could be something new inbetween.
They made sense at first, since you had events (when it was a few days). But then they stopped making sense, because no more content was added.Seemed like a good game at first, lost me in the first 10 minutes. For Fucks sake if you are gonna give us 3 options of
1. Go to Tomoe's room
2. Go to Sheila's room
3. Focus and try to ignore it
THEN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, Make all of those goddamn options work. EITHER THAT or REMOVE those that have no place being there, what you are doing is creating the illusion of giving players choices, YOU ARE NOT, and it is pissing me off, honestly those who enjoy it have fun with the game but it lost me in the first 10 Minutes due to that bullshit. I would rather play a Visual novel without any choices at all then have the dogshit illusion of choices forced on me from the begging, have fun y'all
Dude, wrong section.. try it in the "review" tab, this one here is for discussion ...My opinion of the latest update after playing it:
TL;DR: I've seen bugfixes enable more and way better content than this so called "updates" brings to this game.
Technical elements: 1/5
CGI elements: 1/5
- The smartphone remains accessible as well as 100% non-functional. It's there only to remind the player at all times that the dev doesn't care in the slightest about the design and functional features he once intended to give the game. And unlike the karma system, the smartphone would require an afternoon of work at most.
- The karma system is still not implemented, and it will never be. However, the karma points are still falsely awarded. The choices sometimes have impact to some degree in the same scene or the immediately following at most. But the karma points themselves do not.
- For the specific new content though, it just happens that in order to take the bad karma route with Yoko, you need to have taken the good karma route with Keiko, which is kind of... inconsistent.
- Lots of fake branching and unavailable options that are shown anyway, which mean the tiny update wasn't even finished or it was done precisely to create the illusion of content.
- Backwards incompatibility. This is a very problematic issue. I got "lucky" and had my latest saves halfway the last scene of the previous update so, they loaded fine. But many other saves at random previous points are now broken.
- Ending the updates with many advertisement stages at the end, that will be removed in the next version, dedicated just to lure patreons and create hype but never advising the player to save for the last time at a specific truly safe spot is something terrible that makes so many people not wanting to play anymore. Especially since, for some reason, with each update, renders are renamed in a way that the skip already seen content doesn't work and players have to either click through the whole game again or skip it without knowing if the reason the game doesn't consider it already seen content is because there could be something new inbetween. PSA: I clicked through the whole game for last update, there was nothing new other than the new ending content.
- Lots and lots and lots of bad grammar even when not "intended", unfinished sentences, sentences victim to being rewritten many times without much care. So much for the amount of delay that was being justified as proofreading. No one proofread last update and no one proofread this update.
- Other than this, the game still has the same style using minimal and most basic of ren'py options with no customization other than the main menu screen. This is not good or bad, just how it is.
Plot elements: 1/5
- The visuals are the same as always, for good or bad depending on personal taste. However...
- The amount of plot-related and/or character interaction renders is very tiny and in general not much appealing regarding their narrative usage nor the eroticism of the game.
- Keiko's sex scene (or the whole scene to be fair) is one of the poorest and less cared for scenes in the entire game.
- Caramella looks nothing like Yoko, to the point I doubt he's using the same overall model for both.
- Also, personally, I would have liked to see more Yoko and less Caramella, since it's Yoko the one we've seen the whole time she messed with MC and in all the relevant interaction between them that led to these events. So, "taking revenge" without actually seeing Yoko for the most part it's quite unfulfilling for me.
- Yoko's sex scenes are richer than many others in the game. So that's a plus, at least for the visuals.
- So few characters appear in the new content. And most of them so briefly. 80% of the renders are about MC alone or with new NPCs that have no relevance and will never again make an appearance.
- Black screen scenes. This is a big minus for me. Game overs used to have some visuals (like police taking you, for example) now there's only a black screen with text. And in this update it's not just the game over part, the whole scene that leads to a game over happens in a black screen. That's not a visual novel anymore. Just a regular novel. Pure laziness on dev's part.
And that's it. the summary of the most important aspects of this update would be:
- As some other users pointed out, there are lots of other porn games out there with better visuals in every aspect, better sex scenes, better girl's designs, technically superior... The thing that made this game unique and captivating for many was the story and the MC's personality. The story for having mysteries, being about something else than just sex and having so many plot lines, almost one for every secondary character. And the MC for having a goal other than sex to the point no other porn game gets, prioritizing the goal over sex; and also for being put in difficult situations and being able to solve them most times in a classy way and if not at least in an original way, always outsmarting the antagonists. Well, no trace of this can be found in this update.
- MC no longer outsmarts anyone, he's been blessed with a plot device that solves all his problems for him in the form of a liquid drug.
- Before, the drug was just a way to justify some characters getting sufficiently horny to bypass the surrealism of some sex scenes. It was needed for the sake of having those sex scenes, and didn't impact the story progression much. But now, the drug justifies absolutely anything and without consequences. A great decrease in writing quality.
- Because it's been more than a year since the events that put Yoko as top priority target, I don't remember perfectly, but aside from being mean to MC and having some leverage to play blackmail with him a bit, I don't remember anything that justifies MC wanting to do his worst to her in a so vulgar and totoally uncarismathic way, that even breaks the character because it's never been MC's way of doing things.
- 90% of the actual content of this update consists of getting from a trains station to Yoko's house, encountering a lot of irrelevant events unrelated to the story that apparently are meant to be funny. None of them is. At all.
- The story progression is very minimal, and that's being generous.
- Keiko's character gets some development. Very little, but it's something.
- Yoko, as a character, doesn't appear in this update. All there is is Caramella, who seems to have a completely different personality and way of talking even when she's not broadcasting (which doesn't make any sense), and druged Caramella, who isn't even a character is a sexdoll that gets dialogue boxes full of not a single actual sentence.
- Kayane gets a very very tiny bit of development, so small that I don't even know if it should count.
- MC's personality is replaced by the miraculous drug, so the main character has just gone down the drain.
- Magical drug just solves all situations, MC doesn't need to have a brain anymore.
- 90% of the content is a pointless maze where no girl appears and no meaningful interaction happens.
- Lots of fake branching and fake (ineligible) choices to create the illusion of content.
- Hazardous text in 80% of text boxes.
- Broken saves games and other game breakign events.
He already wrote a review, but he felt that his opinion is so important (it really is not) that he need to copy&paste it into the thread as well.Dude, wrong section.. try it in the "review" tab, this one here is for discussion ...
Man, Irph doesnt even remember that train scene xD. He just saw the thugs cards and use them.honestly the bad karma route on yoko makes absolutely no sense if you did not make a deal with the thugs back on the train (yeah you almost broke my nose, tried to rape what is mine, and stabbed me, but hey lets fuck this girl together because we are the bestest of bestest buds!).
Well to be fair, there's practicaly no "coding" to do, since he's using Ren'py (For a menu, you have one keyword for the menu and one to "jump" to the part of the script related.)I know it's in vogue to bitch and moan tirelessly about devs, their choices, and update cycles on this site, but the 6000+ lines of Day 26 alone accounts for 14% of the entire game's script. It has over 40 menus with 90+ individual choices and an innumerable number of different ways to navigate them. Writing and coding that isn't trivial.
By slut you mean Kayene then you wound me sir. Motoko, Sheila and Kayene are some real waifu contenders.Nope and neither that slut, but don't worry, you will get to bang both of them when Trump becomes president again
Last option might be best. Path ahead could be enlightening her about how the world can be cruel yet not going to far as it's clear now that mc is some piece of work in putting his points across or making others realize the consequences. Yoko patch up with her family could wll be the good karma route. So which is the best route to take for future update?
1- Slave Keiko(-1) + raped Yoko(-1) = No magic potion left.
2- Partner Keiko + gangraped Yoko(-2) = No magic potion left.
3- Partner Keiko + raped Yoko(-1) = half dose potion left.
We can see in both Yoko scenarios that she recognizes MC so storywise it should not differ much except one has blackmail video. Maybe having the blackmail could allow us to deliver her right in the arms of Faris or just using the half dose left for it. Because I don't think that the potion left will be used on anyother than Yoko since the story of other girls should not be affected by what we decided to do with her.
It's not just a question of whether it should be plausible or not.you kind of get that if you do not use the drug again, but it is just a 1 and done and leaves an obvious opportunity and motive for her to get the mc back if the drug has no lasting effects... which it should not have worn off as easily given what happened to the italian woman...

In fact, it was the other way around. I first post it here because it is part of the discussion as some others have replied to me already, and also because I didn't know how to make a review. Later I learnt how, so I did. I suppose you can check the time stamps of each to verify. He already wrote a review, but he felt that his opinion is so important (it really is not) that he need to copy&paste it into the thread as well.
I saw your review and must say the points you made were compelling. I for one absolutely agree with the drug theory you pointed out. Yoko scene might be similar to what happened with Minami though less extreme in prior case, that being said iam in no way justifying it and hoping that they won't go "extreme level" to punish her further .It's not just a question of whether it should be plausible or not.
Bad karma route on Yoko makes no sense because it's going needlessly and insanely overboard. And there are 2 main reasons for that route to not be as it is:
- Yoko didn't do to MC as much as others have done, so her punishment shouldn't be harsher than the other's punishment.
- Doing that to Yoko is suicide. It would be perfectly understandable if a week from then, just crossing paths in a school corridor and regardless of consequences, Yoko stabs MC to death. The MC has no need to make Yoko hate him that much.

Though even if I did it as you said, there's nothing wrong. While not being important, my opinion is also not less important than that of any other. At least I'm not a hypocrite like you, lecturing others about their importance and still making off-topic comments to say your opinion about me.
It's not MC hating Yoko so much but players (which also weird since it's our pseudo genius mc that fell for REALLY obvious trap and dev apparently isn't planning to remedy this). Yeah, it's unnecesary cruel action that doesn't align with mc's personality but let's be honest: dev's long since don't give a damn about story (or have much less enthusiasm about it for whatever reason). So the game is turning into mindless fanservice with super drugs that make girls do random shit regardless of their original personality.Doing that to Yoko is suicide. It would be perfectly understandable if a week from then, just crossing paths in a school corridor and regardless of consequences, Yoko stabs MC to death. The MC has no need to make Yoko hate him that much.
Bro just give up, this game has basically hit a dead end. I would LOVE for more scenes and the plot to progress in this game but reality has told me the dev is utter shit and the game is officially unfinished.Iam waiting for so long to get a scene with tomoe, at least get interaction or flirting with her again like last time in the kitchen, iam so excited with that scene, but the end of the update just at the yoko house
