It isn't as horrible as some people say. The bath scene was fun. But yes, for the expectations it is pretty bad, specially due to the amount this guy had to do it.

Game works fine, keep getting this issue when trying to install the walkthrough mod:
Not sure why it can't load the file, afaik nothing got corrupted during the download. This happen to anyone else?

There is nothing in the mod that either makes changes to the game in that section of the game code nor could cause those errors. It is very likely something got corrupted either in the download of the game itself or when it got extracted.
Try re-extracting the game into a new folder then reapply the mod and see if that helps.
Also, please don't use the code tags for posting error logs but instead use the spoiler tags as to help keep the posts legible.

The dev changed the vids from 1440p to 2160p, so unless you have a computer with at least 8 threads (not cores but threads) and/or a weak CPU in general then you will probably experience laggy video playback.
