maybe you have an outdated compressor or the download is corrupted, try to update your compressor and if dont work, redownload the game
No. She's no blood relation to the MC. She is MC's mother's husband's daughter, so stepsister is correct.
Initially, Sheila was MC's half sister. The dev, not being a native english speaker, used the word stepsister despite the story explicitly saying they were both children of the same mother.
At some point around three half-updates ago, dev claimed Patreon was giving him problems regarding incest in his content, so he may have changed that so that Sheila is truly a stepsister.
I haven't checked what the story says nowadays. My suggestion is: play as though she's whatever you prefer to be. Half sister, stepsister, an android come from the future...

Found a bug in the .99 version. When retrieving the camera from the locker, there are no options to progress past the scene.
Choices are to "retrieve the camera" and "rummage some other lockers before leaving". Once completed you stay on the screen with no new options coming up.
I played this thru in a previous version, so not sure what happened here.

What's the difference between 0.98 and 0.99? Is there any new content in 0.99 or is it just bugfixes?
There is some new content. There are new animations as well, but they're in branching paths, so there was a lot of work put in but story wise it meant it was a bit shorter than people may like or was hoping for. The foundation was put down, but it is technically incomplete as far as being a 'full' update. Take your time through it and explore all those branches!
Aka about the same time Half Life 3 releases but right before Milfy City gets another update.
