This game would be alright if the mc wasnt the dumbest man alive, like if you're going to make the mc get into dumb situations make it because i chose poorly and he got screwed over by it, not force me to cringe as the mc falls into the most obvious trap of all time. Other than that though the story's fairly decent, at the start i was like fam why cant you just move on with your life and stop being petty af but then everyone at the school turned out to be massive cunts so i was like yea fuck it i getcha now dude.

The MC can't move on because the plot requires it, don't overthink things.

Obviously IRL a sane person would just deal with it and make a life for themselves but this isn't in the real world, it's the porn universe where a high school (?) is populated by implausibly buxom girls who are all willing to fuck the protagonist.

I would be pissed while also trying to build a better life for myself, I love Waifu Academy but please don't treat it as a realistic game with a sane plot.

The MC's plot is fine for a work of fiction but let's not pretend it's in anyway sane or proportional.

If u like Honey Select based games in general :
- Linear : The Inn, One More Chance, Threeway Changes (early and the closest-similar to Waifu Academy), Perverted Hotel (no status update for long)
- Sandbox : Mythic Manor, Harem Hotel, Max's Life, Solvalley School, Dark Magic (pretty much early but with decent amount of content), Sylphia Island (early)
*note: none of them is completed

I'm also including them in early stages since they got potential imo, just hoping they'll have a chance for reach many more ppl
Though, u'll have a hard time for looking another titles if u using Waifu Academy as a standard, since this game is a high level Honey Select based in both artwork and story

I agree with passerbyR34's suggestions especially Mythic Manor, Harem Hotel, Solvalley School you should definitely give those three a try. Personally I love those three and think they are great games. Mythic Manor & Harem Hotel are both top tier in terms of content and quality & Solvalley School has some really funny moments.
