I did a fresh install, no mod. And that finally worked. And after I got past the looping point it's been fine, so far. Actually haven't gotten into the new stuff yet to see if it holds. Didn't test to see if it's still starting a "new" game midgame. Which means, seeing as the game works without the mod, that it's the mod introducing the looping problem. So waiting for irph wont help you at all.

Between this thread and the mod thread, I think I've seen different combinations of new playthrough/old playthrough/mod/no mod/uninstall then reinstall mod, where anecdotally people have had it work and others not work for them. I'm just gonna wait until either the dev or the modder addresses the issue, if neither of them do by the time I get around to this one, I'll just use URM and see if tries to connect to SkyNet. For the sake of clarity are you loading a save from a previous version on a fresh install?
I did. I leave some old saves cluttered around. I used one that was just after the onsen visit before the honeybee contest. But yeah. This update the mod and game are not playing nice with each other.
Just did it again cause I put the mod back in, to see if it'd start in the middle again. it did. But with a new fresh install, it starts at the actual start of the game. So at least some of the issues are the mod itself. It might have been set to give you a choice of where to start but not implemented right so it just jumps you ahead.

the game is fairly streamlined from what i remember. just remember to occasionally save and you'll be fine.
there are barely any situations that actually cause you to branch away.
Can you fuck Brooke yet? Been asking this question for like 5 years, not playing until it happens

if i read it correctly... you have 2 script.rpyc so it defines some values doubles under de game dir... under the game dir there is another WAIFU-WT dir.... might want to check that it isn't double unzipped.

If you're talking about the 3rd scene in the replay menu for her then that should be at the bathhouse. Kinda hard to miss that one. I'm assuming you just have to pick her over Elizabeth at the end.
