As content is added, the game gets bigger. There's also the 'problem' of the image quality improving, which makes the compression the devs use less effective. It's worth keeping in mind that the releases themselves have some level of compression, it's just that they have a baseline for quality, and the chosen art style limits what they can do.
If anyone is going to bother to compress it, it will likely be after the release in a week or so (or the public release of that release). That assumes the bugs are ironed out, and we don't have to go through Ren'Py files to work out how to make certain scenes not loop forever due to a silent error (e.g. in the last update a sound file didn't load during a blowjob scene, so it got stuck because it halted the script/input in a loop).

It is a fun watch. Nothing extraordinary but if you like fighting animes you may like Ikkitousen. It is actually a quite successful franchise.
