Aside from that, I agree this game can't really have NTR - the MC doesn't care about anyone in that way. Though I'm sure mods would just lo~ove an in-depth discussion on the particulars of the genre. The worst is probably what we already saw with Sheila and later Yoko where he thought of them more as misbehaving property or merchandise and decidedly not masculine possessiveness. The closest would be Makoto but that's less love and more that he put her on a pedestal, that she "isn't like other women." I have zero belief the author will do anything interesting with the misogyny/misanthropy but that *is* the character. For the MC characters are either tools to use, enemies to destroy, or distractions.

Also, has there ever been a decent karma system, ever? Bioware and LionHead are notorious for their ridiculous "equivalences" and frankly Bethesda and Obsidian aren't far behind. I have some doubt an undisciplined indie porno game dev is going to make something that isn't absurd. Looking forward to,

Anyway, enough novels from me - I've now probably spent more time discussing Waifu Academy than Irphaeus has actually writing it in the past couple years.

I've read som of your latest posts here and just need to ask something. Is it simply a mistake or are you repeatedly calling Motoko as Makoto for a reason?

It's missing the audio file (bjo1.mp3), which causes Ren'Py to bug out. If you use UnRen (or whatever) to extract the game, you can copy bj01.mp3 from game/audio/ to bjo1.mp3 (it's called a few times, so it's easier than trying to patch the mess). I actually grabbed every file misplaced mp3 file and copied it into that folder, as well as making a copy of bj01 to bjo1.

If you really don't care about the audio, you can stick whatever mp3 file in game/audio (make the folder if it's missing, it's fine), and name it bjo1.mp3

The first route(high Karma) of Waifu Academy will be finished around this fall yes. then I will release a very early concept for Waifu Hunter to explain the project.
I'm only working on Waifu Hunter during some days at the begining of each month, gathering idea and creating concept for characters and map.
Waifu Academy with the 2 other(average Karma, low Karma) route will still require 3 or 4 update to be completely finished.

I think this aged rather badly, but it might just be me...

And Irphaeus isn't just a game developer company, and its game isn't a commercial product. He has no obligations.
It's a creative product.
You complain about the game being slow to update, but does it owe you anything? No.

Wow that is hilarious.... I don't even remember where the game was at back then..... Let alone seeing where it is now. He must have been high as a kite to make a statement like that, or more likely just comfortable with lying straight to his fans' faces lol.

It has nothing to do with being spoilt. Imagine you have a friend who promises you something time after time, but never fulfils his promises. How long will your loyalty to him last? Besides, he clearly states on his patreon page that this is a commercial project for him. This game is what he does to make money. Yes, there are a lot of forgotten games by developers, but on the contrary, there are many developers like Lazy Monkey, Classy Lemon, Berkili4 who make games just as good, but make much less money on them, but they don't lie to fans and release updates on a regular basis.
I think his patrons are providing him with quite a comfortable life while he's been feeding them false promises for seven years now. So yes - he DOES owe them.
