I have 0 knowledge of neither how the Dev wants his story to go nor if he has any fantasy elements in it but i have finished the current version of the game 3 times already and I got the impression, i might be wrong that the demon Rachel who appears in MC's dreams has some kind of possesion in Tomoe and Sheila at some times...Minami is admiring MC , Asuka i think is in love with him because he showed her affection ( at least that is what i believe after reading her dialogue) Haruka on the other hand for me needs to change her attitude because I find her attitude on the Honey Bee contest super annoying!!!
