WARNING,
if you care that your experience at the least include a working vanilla experience and that your porter won't disregard vanilla features that have been specifically crafted for your enjoyment by the game dev, you should avoid BlackEye ports. I can tell you from firsthand experience that they give zero shits, if the quality of life features of a vn are completely borked after porting, as long as they get paid something either way. If you're sceptical, I recommend that you to go through their update and "problem report" discord channels. In the updates, you will see numerous references to "posts that are very similar to: I'm not gonna post to 'x' place anymore, because the download site I use (for maximum payout) that consistently spams popup after popup (to the point of unusability on Android devices at the very least, even when utilizing average ad blockers)... "has been banned" by the platform. Before going on, for those of you who want to continue receiving ports from this joker. I advise grabbing up "Brave" browser or blocking JS script execution for any links you decide to click from this platform in General. I recommend this because... It's super easy for someone to provide you a link that loads several JavaScript commands (without notification, that will happily load new background processes that you will never see as a typical user, but will get some other jackass either provided with various amounts of your personal information, and or kick off multi threaded processes that will get them paid at your expense.
Anyway, if for your effort and loyalty, you end up with a product that has broke basic feature official dev considered worth special attention .. I mean, is it okay for a porter to just dictate that an entire coded mechanic is worth nothing, if it requires them to revisit a pre built porting script? I guess that's for the gods, or karma to decide, but... If you ask me, if you claim to port the features of a masterpiece like Waifu Academy "with community driven improvements", it should bother you if your product is indisputably inferior due to the introduction of bugs that the official deployment had already overcome. Great job BE.
