Yes, early on the reporter girl gets stuck in a window, and MC can choose to let a dog lick her, IIRC, or take advantage of the situation to dig in himself, while she still thinks it is the dog. In any case, she gets a fetish out of it.

Kayane has been my favorite girl from the beginning.
While there's several LI, I find she's the one with best characterization (not to mention, she's very easy on the eyes
).And in a good coincidence (which I didn't realize until I replayed this game; guess the dev added it in at later stages), she's literally the first LI who shares screentime with MC in the train also.
There's no in-game explanation whatsoever.
Granted, there are some high schools out there in the world which does have the whole mixed age in one class system called "Composite class" yet those are exceptions not the norm.
But I doubt Irph actually thought that far ahead (given no explanation in-game), so you can chalk it down to him probably just not understanding how class system generally works & wanting to use those honorifics lol
I feel exactly the same.
Characters like Kayane, Helen, Shirohime, Inori, Motoko (and couple of others that I can't remember) haven't even gotten their scenes as well as advancements in storyline yet.
I'd rather we actually start getting scenes for those characters rather than the same characters (with their tired old & yes, annoying scenes) eating up time for developing characters we're not even on stage one with.

It must have been a really long time since you last played then, because when we played for the first time, about 4 years ago, she was already on the train, so if the dev inserted her into the train afterward, it was quite a while ago

For the game's opening especially yeah. It probably is.
And ngl, I think I possibly noticed some parts here and there in the game when I replayed it that I don't remember seeing before.
While it could be the case of Irph adding new scenes, it could also be just that I don't remember some stuff
given the number of AVNs I play.But yeah, I love how it's Kayane who is the first girl to interact with the MC.

Well, I don't know the other scenes or renderings, you might be right since I can't count all the changes the Dev made along the way, but I remember Kayane on the train perfectly because the first thing my "gf" and I did was look at each other and we had the same reaction: "What a sexy little brat," referring to her behavior.For the game's opening especially yeah. Then, though I'm not sure, it might be Nanali (the tired office lady) who walks past the MC. It's hard to say, though, because we only see her "ass-side", but I think she's dressed the same in the molestation scene later on. Then there's Brook, who's sitting a little further away on the same side as the MC. The scene with Kayane comes way later in the game.

It was the quickest thing I could do, since I don't have much time. But every now and then, I have fun rewriting texts and mixing existing images to create an alternate story, sort of "what if". It's always short, but with a playful exaggeration of character traits. It's not worth publishing, but hey, what can I say?
