Yeah, this is the kind of project and developer I no doubt support in all platforms, steam, dlsite, renpy. Patreon. Perhaps not eternally, but at least enough so that I can say I paid the game's worth. Not a lot of devs get that sentiment from me.

And even less lately, lately there's been a surge of games that only qualify as cashgrab games. Or worse, lately I've felt the need to activate firewall for a few games, since that other couple cashgrab games(don't remember the names) tried to get my locale even though they were not even past their first beta stage. Not like they even want to develop past that stage anyways.

I hear you on that. This is the only game I currently support on Patreon. I never liked the idea of paying a subscription for a game. I've supported other games on Patreon, but only for a month or so. I can't think of another game that has been fun to play for a long period of time largely due to consistent updates and the dev responding to community feedback. I really can't think of another dev that does this. This game I originally found on here. Then bought it on itch.io, but wanted the latest updates so have been on Patreon. I'm sure I've paid a fair amount for the game by now, but I think the way I feel now is that I want WDC to be successful. If a couple of bucks can help, then it's worth it to me. Besides, seeing what new surprises the dev has in store for us each week is fun.

I've been getting quite frustrated with the quality of games too. Feeling disappointed in a VN I bought on Steam is actually what brought me to F95 in the first place. I still pay into early access games, but even that has been less and less. I figure on F95 - if I like a game I'll support it on Patreon or Steam. If I don't, I just delete it and move on, and I didn't have to pay into early access just to get a dud.

I don't understand the love feature mentioned in some of the change logs.
Where exactly can I see the level, how can I level it and what are the benefits of leveling?
- I know there are supposed to be new animations... But where? With whom?

Hrm? (specs please.)

My rig's GPU fans have never wound up for this game. I play this with well over 60 fps using WINE on Mint Linux 22.1 on a Ryzen 5 2600 16GB and LP RTX3050 6GB (bus powered, driver v570.133). My previous GPU was an LP GTX 1650 4GB (bus powered) and it had high fps as well. It has classic heatsinks & fans, no crazy water cooling, etc.

As for my AMD 7840U laptop, its fans will kick off for pretty much anything that pushes the CPU to use more than 6 of it's 16 threads - including WDC. I blame that on laptop thermals, not the game.

When you interact with the NPC over the text screen there is a small box usually says unknown (some have names) , most NPC also have an empty glass heart meaning you can increase Love and invite them to the house.

When the heart is full you will see a new dialog and numbered options (1 to 5) at this point the NPC can move inside the house (In the house they give the same amount of points but don't ask for money). After the numbered house slots are unlocked the Love animations can be unlock.

To increase Love, you need to interact and stay in the animation. You get affinity for as long as you get points (the lower bar doesn't counts)

To unlock this poses faster you need to level up the skill Lover ( Player menu X key )

I commented on the wrong post, it's my fault. There is no problem with optimization.

afaik it will load on older versions but the content will be removed from the save. so if loaded in build 69 later on 70 the new items will be back on the map and missing from the wardrobe

Saves are at AppData Local. In my pc goes like
C:\Users\ [[ User Name ]] \AppData\Local\Waifu_Dreams_City\Saved\SaveGames

the paddle is either in the church floor or the demon-ish floor inside the tower, the outfits are in the house, u need to buy the mirrors one for Halloween and another for Christmas the candy cane is in the mirror too
