Dude i don't wonder "why", i'm just pointing out this sort of content perhaps warrants addition of NTR tag to the tag list, so people who actually mind such development don't get all pissy they weren't warned until they played the whole thing.

But if you want to talk logic, it's actually Ginny who comes to the MC and asks to maybe make things official/exclusive because she's a laughing stock for getting cheated on. So if the player actually does make their relationship official then getting cheated on afterwards is kinda... well, hypocritical would be a word i guess.

Also, lol at the idea love triangles and threesomes weren't a thing in 1999. You can even get them in the game, for this matter.

Please give examples. All major characters must be mentioned in the epilogue in any case. If not, then it looks like a bug, and I want to see the saves before this epilogue.

I wish I saved my other games now, lol.

But this is one where I broke up with Harry but convinced him to stay as a girl, and kept Hermione relationship(But she vanishes in the epilogue)

All q77 variables for MC are false, ggc.r_hp has value of 7 and jwc.r_hp is 54 so Harry should be inviting Ginny to the ball, and yet the game skips him entirely and only shows Ron (who pairs with Hermione) as first. Either the bundled .rpyc version of the file contains some wrong logic that doesn't match the .rpy version, or idk.

rpyc files generated automatically. script should work. so if the values of the variables are exactly like that, then Harry should have invited Ginny. can you send us a save file with this behavior?

Hmm no idea why it'd glitch in my game then. This is even with two separate downloads/fresh installs. The one from Pixeldrain for what's worth, maybe i'll try another later.

And yeah, my MC has high relationship values with them both, so she can get on the threesome if i manually flip the switch for "Harry invited Ginny" after the pair lineup. The owlery scene then triggers and all.

Yeah, the attached file is from the beginning of dance sequence, the pair lineup happens after a few lines. I'll try to grab the game from another mirror and see if it changes anything in the meantime.

edit: downloaded the file from MEGA this time, did a clean unpack so there's no remaining files possibly getting in the way. Loaded the save, same behavior i.e. Harry is missing from the lineup and game shows Ron/Hermione as the first pair.

This is an error in the code, corrected, thanks for the message. This is exactly what I was talking about when I asked you to report oddities and illogicalities.
After the error was corrected, Harry invited Ginny and a threesome in the Owlery with them available

It was a conscious decision to avoid harem endings. Otherwise, they would have made the table of possible endings several times more complicated, and we would have been finishing this game for several more years.

Yeah, i've overlooked initially too that those nested relationship level checks effectively prevent checking the remaining ROs, if it gets to the relationship level check in a branch and fails there. Glad it's resolved and good luck with the game.

There is a rape scene at the ball that can potentially play to conclusion if the MC doesn't interfere. Another character getting raped is a fixed plot point, and it can also happen to Ginny in certain scenarios. There's also a rape attempt during flying practice. Possibly more that i missed. So "not a good fit" doesn't have all that much leg to stand on.

Though i don't think the game "needs" more. But obviously, people are always going to request more of what they're into, so, well.

There's blackmail (Colin can do it if he gets his hands on MC's nude pictures), Draco can dominate unwilling MC with magical artifact, and you can get your ass fucked by an intelligent plant when you never consented to that part of a deal and MC makes it clear she doesn't want it.
