I see so it's just a limitation of the RenPy engine. It would be a useful addition for them to add to the RenPy engine considering how many in development games use it.

A small hint. You can't complete both quest 3 and quest 4. So, if you closed quest 3, the quest 4 is missing. And vice versa.

We are pleased to inform you of the progress of the next version.
The text is ready for 80%. We've added at least one event to each of the main characters. Also, we tried to add a lot of small events to the sandbox. You will see a lot of new small gameplay improvements in this version. The duration of the game will be increased until the end of October.
There will be music in the new version. Six tracks from the planned nine are ready. It will be original music based on HP's movies OST and written specifically for our game .
Also, three new characters will be added - two students and one Hogwarts employee. Two of them are ready.
As we promised earlier, we will release the next version in the middle of January.

We just released a 0.30alpha version for our 10$ patrons. This is a real alpha with bugs, missing content and bad english ) It's not so alpha as 0.2 alpha, but still....
We've added more than 13,000 words, divided into 11 quests and many small events. Almost all characters has at least one quest for now. Also we added two new students, which you can see in the picture. Of course, there are associated quests. Sandbox mode is improved and new features are added. Now the game has music written specifically for us.

- Some minor graphics. The main sprites and background are ready, but some need to be reworked or improved. Also, several details are not ready yet.
- We are plan to add the quddich quest and event line for it.
- Also, we plan to add a small quest with Professor Flitwick.
- English version need to be corrected and proofread. We are extremely grateful to one of our patrons who undertook to do this.

Wouldn't be the first time a game "sexifies" a character to look more attractive than they actually are. Giny Weasel ain't that attractive either and yet she looks like it in-game... sort of.

The new male Character is Cedric right? He is certainly the most well known puff of either gender so it would make sense.
On another note how long do you think it will be before this game starts pulling heavily from the fannon using characters we know almost nothing about like Susan Bones or Daphne Greengrass (at least with her sister we know that she eventually marries Malfoy)? I personally am interested in seeing how this games author fleshes out the lesser known characters.
