Because there is neither an official fix, nor a confirmed fix.

Then why was the thread even bumped to the front page in the first place?! Its still listed as demo, there's no fix. There's no update. Pretty sure no one likes getting baited.

Unless I'm mistaken, it was because there's a new machine-translation of 1.08. The dev doesn't show changelogs and essentially lists the game as a "demo." The current, patched version under the OP was just untested—an honest mistake by whomever compiled it.

Messing around with the files, really enjoying this game imo, but I just cannot figure out why the main characters "lewd" abilities will not work at all, nor will the quest books appear in the correct spots (which should be in the 3 books in options screen), is this being caused by a translation error somewhere in the game files? Having no issue with these in japanese version.

Kudos to all you gents working to fix these issues.

That version has a mix-up where the person applied every suggested fix ever into the v1.2 Daedroth version, who's doing a manual translation. Those fixes weren't intended for the non MTL Daedroth version

which has a lot of bad translations that break the game. Which we have fixed!
However people mass downloaded the broken version and the thread got spammed.

but its not entirely a "clean" version, there are a lot of extra useless files.

Do the quest and monster books work in your fix?

I think they go into your regular inventory tbh, I havent wrapped my mind around that yet. But you can still proceed with the game. I think the quests arn't broken, they just arnt well, efficiently trackable, atleast in those book windows, at first I thought it was a save issue.

you did mention i did not make an attempt at uploading the entire game, which was simply not true. Its also a bit illegal to distribute pirated games ,while legally questioning posting fixes is not that much of a problem. Many file hosting sites are also against using them for this purpose and they take notice when they get bigger traffic, therefore I choose the ol' reliable anonfiles. Alas, we're on f95zone and we're not making profit outta it.

Saves from the partial 1.02 translation and the new 1.08 update are not compatible (irreconcilable file errors).
Guess I'm starting over for a fifth time...
Edit: Restart #6: Loading saves disables casual mode. Break out the cheats, boyz.
Edit 3: Materials seem to get deleted. Also this when getting to the first village:

Unfortunately, anytime I try to download something from Anonfile it just comes out as a disk file that I can't do anything with. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong somehow, or that's just how the site work.

pretty sure if you just click download multiple times it'll give you the real zip (atleast it does for me). im thinking those disk files are an attempt to hack someones computer but I dont even let them finish downloading because I dont trust them or know how they work. right now though it just sends me to a shopping website.
