I feel it needs repeating after the recent discussion - this is my favourite game at the moment (and has been for some time) - and it is the play style I particularly like (well and the pics obviously) - and I particularly like to play it without cheats, walkthroughs or any add ons

thew h scene ok the game play hase the more problem xpfamr omnly daly the book give which only 2 xp ingrediand harvest slove and boring moving eraia to slow no waypoint. xp farm item and gold farm rely slow. anoting food and lust system which rely need gold and stuf farm to not game over. enemy npc movment anoying whanever want avoid foloving you and because not good lvl system and no escape option the game rely slow and boring. hopimng developer read this forum and make some changes which help the game. most h game have escape option to not lose the progress which certain event need.

I really appreciate the developer making custom artwork for most scenes, but I would love to see the more generic images applied to more characters, at least temporarily. It would be great to be able to do anal, vaginal, titfuck, take it up the pooper, etc. from more characters with just some text and the generic images that correlate with those scenes.

Kind of weird that so many characters have very specific sex scenes when they'd likely be down for more than that. I know a lot of these scenes are planned for the future, but this seems like a good way to make a ton of more content without too much effort even it's temporary so other things can be focused on.

Also, one bug that hasn't been detrimental, but is quite annoying, but using certain items or having certain interactions makes the character portraits stay on the screen. Snu snu berries and spying on your Aunt in the waterfall come to mind as examples.

Not sure if it's possible with this version of RPGM but maybe having a check for the character moving or being outside of dialogue to clear the active character portrait would fix this issue.

Personal preference but the cheat room could use some work, too. Maybe add an option to boost combat stats or skip combat encounters entirely? They are skippable but you still have to go through 30 seconds of clicking and options if you accidentally run into a slime for the thousandth time, and using potions constantly to avoid specific enemies isn't really a viable option. Really annoying without cheats, and maybe reducing the amount of random enemies on the map overall (especially in the transitional zones you visit hudnreds of times) would help a lot, or making them slightly more avoidable. I'm not big on playing a combat game when I'm here for the story and porn, but that's proably just me. Adding cheats to max out character relationships or give a ton of gold would help, too. I'm cheating so I don't have to click a bunch, but as it works currently you either are better off using a save editor or using a AHK script to max out these things.

Also, giving the option to skip to the appropriate time when timed events (especially waiting for evening in the basement) would be great. On that note, some sex scenes skip to the next time period, some do not. Feels rather arbitrary which do or don't, and would be good to get an indication ("this will skip to Evening") and the ability to back out if you don't want to skip forward without simple trial and error.

All of these are small nigglings with an otherwise awesome game that has come a long way. Most suggestions here are simple QoL or just personal preferences on my part.

The scripts are not really "encrypted".

I mean, the files in the game archive (i.e. Game.rgss3a) are "slightly" encrypted, that's true. But once you've extracted them with a dedicated tool, all the files (i.e. pictures, sounds, scripts ...) are then directly available: in the corresponding game editor, for instance.


I don't know what you mean exactly by scripts, but ...


- if you mean all the files containing the concerned game code (CommonEvents.rvdata2, Mapxxx.rvdata2 and eventually Troops.rvdata2), they are serialized Ruby files, like all the other .rvdata2 files. You just need to known how to handle them.

You can also use my own tool to display them in a readable form. See: https://f95zone.to/threads/rpg-maker-events-v1-06.110413/

For instance, for the beginning of the CommonEvents.rvdata2 file, you'll' get:
capture1.jpg which gives capture2.jpg


- and if you mean the generic ruby scripts (including the plugins) presents in the Scripts.rvdata2 file, they are not encrypted, they are just compressed (with a standard Zlib compression).
Which means, it's also easy to display them in a readable form once you've decompressed them: capture3.jpg

I don't think you realize just how big the accessibility problem is. I think you underestimate how good your art is. You could be sitting on a GOLD MINE of free money. All you have to do is VERY little work to fix it.

Look at the right hand side of these images. See the score? That's how many people agreed with his post. That's how big the problem is.

This thread has tons and tons of people complaining about accessibility of in game content.

Fortunately, I think the problem is VERY easy to fix, should only take you 1-2 hours tops.

Hear me out,

The tutorial in the beginning should not be auto scrolling text. Put it in the same style of window that shows when reading the book on the MC's shelf, in his house.

Player reads carefully, taking their time, then they left click when they've read it.

The above information is CRUCIAL. You can't put it on an auto scrolling timer. The player NEEDS to learn that stuff by reading slowly and carefully.

If player is still confused, they should be able to trigger the above tutorial again, so they can re-read the tutorial over and over again from the escape menu.

Adding one extra sentence to each quest could mean the difference between retaining players who delete the game out of frustration at the 1-2 hour point.

Literally adding a few extra sentences to each quest could mean the difference between an extra 5000-10000 players playing your game, of which you may gain an extra 1-2% patreon subscribers from that amount. An extra $300.00 a month, just for adding an extra sentence to each quest, and a proper tutorial accessible from the escape menu?

You could possibly earn at least an extra $3600.00 a year, from 1-2 hours of work.

Anyways, I'm glad your happy with what you made. The game has massive potential to be HUGE IMO.

If you're happy with how it is, then more power to you, but it's confusing as hell. I have no idea what to do. But like you said, I'll move on.

This is very dishonest. From the looks of the screenshot, it seems to be an e-hentai comment. The score system is not based around +1 score point equals 1 person. Those are just a handful of people, not 41.

This is another case for me of "I'd have likely agreed with him, but X". In this case, it's his (re)introduction, the post where he talks about the TONS of content that's just impossible to find, which does not inspire the same confidence in him that the post you replied to does.
With that post, his criticism doesn't seem to be coming from a guy who sees the potential of a game that with a little polish could shine like a star in the night sky, so much as it's coming from a guy who couldn't (or didn't want to) walk to the middle of town to have a chat with a gruff, maidenless NPC about the bombed-out second story of a house. And not for nothing, but that quest's been in the walkthrough for a while.
Those quests he picked do have vague instructions, I'll give him that. But like I told him, there's not a fuck-ton of NPCs to slog through, and you can likely pick out the one you need with a little thinking or exploration. And really, it's a porn game loaded mainly with chicks with massive tits, and you're not going to walk around talking to everyone?
And half the quests are linked to or opened by each other in some way. Restoring the second story of Krowly's house requires help from Derek, who's mad because no GF. When you get Sebastian's delivery back from the slime cube in the caves, you not only finish that, you get the magic eye for your basement AND you can get Derek a goblin wife so he can stop being such a bitch. I don't know why Juliet becoming the town teacher is a prerequisite for all of that, but since most people find her on their first half-handful of forays into the forest, that's basically not worth mentioning.

The one thing I can still agree on is the issue with occasional focus shift to some very unsatisfying combat, but that's just because I'm salty and tired of missing with half my fucking spell casts.

I worked the vast majority of everything out on my own the first time around. And I'll readily, and probably safely, assume that lot of other people did. It's just hard to know how many because they, having worked it all out on their own, don't feel the need to say so because they're already done masturbating. I'm not saying that the game is fine as-is because I'm some fourth-dimensional galaxybrain. I'm saying the game is fine as a guy who was glad the game's engine supports mouse controls for one-handed gameplay.

You don't just have to find Juliette. You also have to go to church Sunday morning so that she gets installed as a school teacher.

This is my main gripe about the game. The combat is just about the worst, most unbalanced in any rpgmaker game I've ever played. Made worse by the fact that monster actively go after you making avoiding combat annoying. Second is probably the asinine bullshit that is the materials collection failure rate.

With regards to criticism of the game, yeah, shouldn't always be necessary to look at a Guide / Reference / Walkthrough or search F95 for the answer. It's not like a bit more guidance in-game is a bad thing.

The guidance would especially be helpful in certain dungeon encounters with Eric(a), like with the maze, because some of those aren't really a fun distraction and become more of a chore to do. Yes, there might be the option to "fap" (which also isn't explicitly mentioned in-game) on a busty statue to bypass a puzzle (also, not in every instance), but, really, if there's an option to do that, maybe it's worth reconsidering the puzzle (or puzzle design) in the first place.

Seems like there might be a couple of bugs (for version v0.359.0.2), which I'll list here:

1. Relationship with Rayna is not displayed in the Cheat Room Relationship list:

This bug might also be relevant in other areas where there's a long list of things on screen, as in there might be one or more items that possibly get cut off. Would be nice if there was a button / method to scroll the display of text without it being the "enter" key, because that's the same key to go to the next screen / text.

2. Increasing Relationship with Taisha in the Cheat Room via the Relationship Cheat results in her showing up before bringing her back to the town:

This is due to Taisha's new Quest where Krowly has to buy her a Dildo. The trigger for the Quest to occur is only Krowly's Relationship with her (>=25 Relationship with Taisha), and not whether or not Krowly has actually brought her to the town (via completing Sebastian's Delivery Quest and talking to Derek and Taisha to sort out the arrangement of bringing her to the town).
She doesn't actually appear in town and live with Derek after the above interaction (in the screenshots) occurs, but it appears to be an inconsistency / oversight that the Dildo Quest prompt can occur before actually bringing Taisha back to town.

3. Fina's picture from her bathing will seemingly always persist and possibly never disappear:

This occurs when Krowly spies on her bathing, and opts to not "fap". Upon walking back toward her, the picture displays again, but will not disappear. Not even combat makes the picture disappear, and the picture will also display over Krowly's picture (the picture that displays via the "W" key).

4. Not really sure if this would be classified as a bug, but Mabel doesn't have a Cheat Room Relationship Increase / Decrease Cheat. With characters like Diana and Taisha having Cheat Room options, but not Mabel, was wondering if this was intentional, or just an oversight.

Was also wondering if I could ask a question: Could there ever be a possibility of separating the Futa x Male content (such as having a Futa filter) from the Male x Male content? Because having both under the "Gay" filter isn't really that ideal, in my opinion.
I don't mind Futa on Male content (prefer Male on Futa content though), but I don't like Male on Male content, yet Futa on Male and Male on Male content are behind the same filter, effectively making it so that one might potentially see or get partial interactions of M x M content as well (such as when defeating a Male Orc), despite possibly only wanting Futa x M content.
At the moment, seems like the best bet is to just disable that content altogether, but was wondering if there would ever be any consideration in having a separate Futa filter.

Oh, and, if once Eric becomes Erica, would there ever be any adjustment to pronoun usage (such as referring to Erica as a Futa)? Not sure if the implication is that Erica would still be referred to via masculine pronouns, like what Krowly with boobs is, but yeah. Reason why I ask is because Erica is not exactly a name that implies masculinity, but yeah, if Erica is still going to have masculine pronouns that's fine I suppose, was just curious.

Ingredient gathering at least gets better with gardening. I never noticed an increased hit-rate with leveled-up spells.
The critters aren't so fast you can't dodge them, but the maps do get a bit claustrophobic in areas if you're avoiding fights.

It's a real shame that some parts of the game are so annoying. The art is top tier, and it's really a great sandbox-type game were you can completely ignore any characters you don't really like, and just do whatever you want. As it stands though, I edit the game every few releases to deal with all the BS.

The farming economy is just sooooo grindy for what otherwise is a pretty decent sandbox

thanks, I will check it out. With Taisha it's not really a bug, you shouldn't be able to rise relationship with her before her arrival, and using cheats is your choice. Krowly clearly says that it's better to not use chaets. I might add some other safe check in case player does that :) Problem with FIna was already reported and I have fixed it, but thank you anyway :)

Nope. There are tons of people with different opinions about what is gay and what is not. It will stay the way it is. Game is intended to be played without filters, I'm not adding different layers of them

No, Eric stays Eric, not Erica. I don't think name "Erica" was mentioned in game anywhere, if I remember correctly
