That's true, hence why I did reference crusader knights as those knightly orders did take some of the clergical practices like celibacy but also didn't follow other parts since they weren't actually priest. Hence how I view the Elizabeth and the Paladin. Elizabeth practices celibacy and preaches embracing one another well the Paladin follows some of those teachings but mainly ensures there's no "perversion of the faith"Note, historically, paladins weren't even clergy at all. That's an invention of D&D. But I get your point.
