New to the game. Any best strategy to increase main protagonist's power? i'm level 4 i think? Hard to beat any elves or ghost to access the tower still.

Potions are your friend. Some of them you can make yourself, others you can buy from Rose. The snowball potion is particularly effective for delaying enemy attacks while you prepare yours.
Against enemies with powerful attacks Magic Shield is essential to withstand the onslaught. You just need to time it right.
Lizzie can be very helpful once you have her as a compagnion. Your fire spells won't be very effective though, so against some enemies it might be better to leave her in her jar.

For the Bandits camp, go up north through the wastelands (where the lamia's roam) until you reach the temple in the far north.(or just teleport if you can). Once there, keep on the ridge and go back south while hugging the western edge of the map until you reach an entrance to a new map. The bandits lair is in that location. It will be a difficult fight. Prepare and save before entering.

You wouldn't happen to have a map would you? because everyone wants to fight you and by the time you fight everyone you run out of power.
