Do you need to defeat the thick goblin together as a party? I think I will need to do more hunting with Eric because I only ran into Jaina and Rose once with four orcs chasing them and Jaina and Rose running in opposite direction to player and Eric asking for help. I did defeat the orcs.

The entrance opens up in the rocks right next to the Inn, on the western side.
I had G setting off. That's why scenes with Jaina didn't want to progress. Didn't complete any scenes with the Eric's hunt yet expect the one with four orcs but the extra two scene behind the inn triggered correctly.
