No idea what i'm missing :
i'm trying to unlock the hotsprings and i've done 'return to investment' quest already, i tried speaking to Alice for the double date but they essentially refuse to speak to me, is there another step i need to do ?

Did she tell you about the hotsprings yet ?
Did you go on a date with her at her home yet ?

Then start with the date where she invites you over. You might also have take her to the Spa.
Only after she tells you about the hotsprings, you can talk to her and Astra about it in Fina's home.

Last time I played this there was a guide. I only used it when I got stuck. Not sure if it's up to date with the current version though. Been a while.

You need to help Alice in the morning and then ask her to dance at the tavern that same night. Then she'll ask you back to her place. Once you've done that you can speak to her and Astra at the manor on Thursday morning. The first time there is a scene with them, then the next Thursday morning you speak to them again and they trigger the hot springs quest. After that, go to the Ancient Temple and the priestess grants your wish so the hot springs appear, then you just wait a week or so for the girls to arrange to have the hot springs excavated and renovated.
I'm having trouble getting the update to work, playing on a mac using wineskin...
If I create a new wrapper for the newly downloaded file with the latest version I can't access my saves, and if I try merging the update with the existing folder that the wineskin wrapper is linked to, the skin seems to just ignore the new data and keep running version 5.10.
Anyone know a workaround?

I use Crossover, which is also Wine based.
The way I do it, is to completely replace the contents of the WAB folder (which I placed in the "C" folder of the bottle I use for this game) with the new files from the newest download. This way Crossover runs the newest version with my saves intact.
With Crossover, these bottles are folders inside Application Support. With Wineskin, everything is kept together as an app. If you crack this app open (right click, Show package contents), you should be able to find the drive_C folder where the game resides and replace the game files found there.

Which version of joiplay worked for you? I've tried a couple and neither worked for me
Thanks for the tip! I wasn't able to work out how to replace the game files / which were the relevant files but by looking through the C folder in the old wineskin wrapper I was able to find the save files themselves and just copy them over into the new wrapper I made for the updated game version. Might not be the most efficient way of doing it but it worked. Posting this partly so I can remember how to do it next time this issue arises.
