1.0 just means the game is complete. You start at 0.0.1 just because you give yourself enough amount of updates so that you dont reach 1.0 before the base game is considered complete. If you think you will release 1000000 updates before the base game is done, release your game in 0.0.0.0.0.0.1 for all I care. In most cases, 0.0.1 is a safe margin for safely versioning your updates. Thats why you see incomplete games have weird version numbers like 0.1235457472384857 with a bunch of content while some games that are 1.0 in version as pretty empty. It all depends on when the developer decides their game is complete.

I played this game from the very first release. It start as straight game with option to turn of gay content. This was the first hint what game Dev really want to make. I should have know and just deleate it from my bookmark.
Dev only add vaginal sex just to keep straight players. after a few year Dev got enough sub who like what Dev like to make. It's time to go full gay. The art change. Every new characters has big lip.
