You didn't read properly... Saves do work.

RTP = Run Time Package. Instead of having to install a specific version of RPGMaker, an RTP lets you play without needing it installed.

Previous saves will work (in yellow writing no less).

It a bug i think I mean it happens to me too..On Tuesday Monday i went to the Mansion of the Event, i don't see anyone thing or body over there but after random tapping around the Area i found it.. It doesn't display icon of character but can see the scenes!!! It like character r invisible..

Help me, maybe it's a bug, but i can't get the elven spa, i worked for Fina and i saw some quest, but the problem it's i didn't do and i did another quest and now i can have sex with Fina without that quest.
