I just tested it and it works just fine... you're doing something wrong... Best guess is you're using the wrong version or you included a space when you copy/pasted the code

I know the latest version is 8a, but the version in the OP (Original Post) is 7b, and it will probably remain 7b for another couple of months because THIS GAME aka "Warlock of Lust" hasn't been updated in 8a, it was last updated in 7b and until "Warlock of Lust" is updated 7b will be the version on this thread, just like the version on Ludus Master is 5b even though it is in the same package of games.
The Game that was updated in 8a was Total Seduction 2, so that thread will be the one that gets 8a when it eventually reaches this site and if patterns hold true about, 2 or 3 days after that someone will drop the new code on THAT thread.
Personally I wish they'd consolidate all the games in this package into one thread, it would make things soo much simpler, but it is what it is.

I would like to as a question if it's not a problem. This game has the 'female protagonist', the 'futa/trans protagonist' and the 'male protagonist' tags, but from the overview and the pictures it seems it's only 'male protagonist'. Someone that played the game could tell me if there is actually the possibility of playing as a non-male protagonist?
At the moment, there is no female scenario in the game, you cannot be the "queen's daughter" and use female cunning and charm when passing, even if you choose a futa character, you will still pass the game "by storm", as men usually do, these are purely cosmetic changes to the main character's model. Perhaps, some scenes were changed in the scenario taking into account the peculiarities of the choice, but I don't remember offhand. And as for playing for another character from the same game, choosing him as the main character - in my opinion, no game in the entire series of this author allows it. So you are most likely right and from a technical point of view, the female protagonist tag is not applicable to this game. I remember only one game by this author with a justified female protagonist tag (Life of Holly v1.3), but the author, due to low interest in it from players, suspended its updates (it is understandable, he is crazy busy, I do not understand at all where he gets time for other games).
P.S.Sorry Life of Holly v1.3 is when MC is Jake, and when the heroine is Holly, it is, unfortunately, Life of Holly v0.9...

Edit: My mistake I never paid attention to the options in the far right of the starting screen, you can change the default MC to Female or Futa.

It's not. You can choose to play as a futa or a woman. It's just that everything except the character model is exactly the same between all 3 (the woman gets a strapon for the sex scenes). You can choose which in the options section of the launcher when starting a new game.
Can you describe the scene (where it happens), I don't recall any transformation in that game.

It's not a transformation scene. You choose which one to play as before starting the game. Then you play the game as the one you chose.
