I think the devs improved a fair bit from their previous work, especially with the H-scenes because that was one of the problems I had with Aries. While I can't say that all the scenarios are creative, they're executed fairly decently and there are even some unique ones that broadened my horizons, or some spins to the usual suspects. That being said, it's still underwhelming in various H-game aspects like corruption (from the actual system, to scene progression), costumes in how they're basically just tied to their respective events, (subjectively) the artstyle, and variety. Overall, with the QoL upgrades and H-scene improvements, it's still a worthwhile play and I can only hope the circle continues to improve at the pace they've been at.

Yeah, healing items can't be used mid-battle on inferno mode. Yup, C.M.X is just that tanky on inferno mode. Took me a while to beat him. I did a hit and run tactic while mainly parrying his missile attacks to break his guard.

Maybe I just suck at parry. I am usually too soon or too late. The window for it seems so tiny, but my reflexes have never been that great so likely a skill issue. But my biggest issue is with breaking their guard. I can break guard on one of them but then the other one interrupts me if I try to combo. Feels impossible to break them both at the same time, especially since it looks like I do so little damage to it.

There are 2 frames delay.

damn Weiss 2nd boss fight is FILTERING me, I think I lost about 10+ times now lol. One of them is I underestimated him and he has less than 500 HP (1 more hit) and he nuked me from 3k (40% hp) to 0 lol. He spams his super move when he goes to half hp and if you fail the parry timing you're FCKED (3k+ damage). This is on gamer (normal mode) difficulty and the combat really shines in this boss fight about perfecting your parries and comboes on his openings.

Edit: Finally got em, took maybe about 15-20 deaths. The key is just going with the flow and ussing parries to break his bar (so you can combo him). The parry timing is pretty generous and the enemy moves are predictable enough, but keep in MIND that you CAN'T just SPAM PARRY (like in sekiro), parry has generous timing but it also has a wide downtime. During that downtime you can get hit/comboed/ bursted by enemy special. It's something like (NOT exact numbers but estimation) 0.5 for parry window and 0.5 for downtime if failed parry. I never even got to USE the GUNS against the dude since he is so hyper and if you don't focus on parrying then he will hit you with range attacks. ALSO when leveling your weapons/swords DON'T USE GUNS since they give no weapon EXP (which kind of makes them extremely niche since you only use them to easily kill enemies but gain no weapon proficiency.

Edit 2: For Skill recommendations/ combo recommendations: my Skill chain (4 moves combo) is Seraphic Cross, Flying Slicing, Aerial Slide, Zwei Bladework. This works BEST on Single target that is staggered/breaked/broken. It's not as effective against AOE. For AOE I just spam Arc Cyclone and run away to rush combo/recharge SP (I still have not yet built a proper combo for AOE.

Do you have a trick for parrying Weiss' Ignition Blade? I hate whoever decided to give him that move. The damn feint makes me parry right as he starts the combo and then I can't block when the swing that actually damages you occurs.

Is it his SUPER move? the one where he slashes multiple times? or is it the Dash strike? or is it the one where he reloads his gun to dash and blast you?. It's mostly Instinct sadly after losing many times to him lol, you will get a grasp of his parry timing as you fight him again and again (his moves are very telegraphed). It will feel FCKING GOOD once you kept perfectly timing your parries and Skill showcasing over him. Even his super move I think I have about 20-30% parry chance due to relying on instinct to parry it lol, I just tank if I fail and heal quickly. Or just RUN as far away as possible once he starts revving his Ultimate move.

It's the one he slashes multiple times and then unleashes a v shape explosion. I found a guarantee way to avoid it. I just use a dash every time when parrying. If I get the timing right for the attacks, instead of doing the dash it'll go into the parry animation. His super move is so hard to parry. Been trying to beat him on Inferno and any hit is so punishing since you basically get stagger and then he combos you to death.

Fuck yeah, I won.
