Sorry my man, but your post is completely delusional. You are confusing reality with your own fantasies. The reality is that threads are maintained by people and people can miss things especially if they are maintaining a lot of threads. This is why it is significant that a Mod is the owner of this thread... but in your fantasy world it's irrelevant and an invalid point that a person updating, uploading and doing a bunch of other things might miss a few tags in a game thread, on the contrary, you think it should only make it easier for them...

In your fantasy world if someone didn't include some information, such as a tag, then it all comes down to either laziness or deception. In your world there is no busyness or such human traits as forgetfulness or inattentiveness (both can often be the result of being very busy (like a mod for example)). Keep in mind that the whole site is maintained by far fewer people then there are game threads. In your fantasy world if something isn't done the way you want it, then it's done so maliciously or because of laziness.

Sorry, but just because something was intended to be something doesn't always turnout perfectly the way it may have been intended... Viagra was intended as medicine for high blood pressure and angina, but that's not what it became. But of course in your world that doesn't happen, and the fact that missing tags are common in many game threads on the forum doesn't suggest to you that your expectation and reality are diverging but rather it's a 'cop-out answer' to you and an 'excuse for laziness' as you put it... or could it be that your views are out of touch with reality? No, that can't be, because as you said doing all this stuff we talked about (and doing it without mistakes) all takes zero effort (at least according to you). So of course you don't see the downside... though I would argue that you don't see the reality either.
I disagree with your assertion that few people have an issue with sandbox games. Came here because the premise sounds great and I figured if the sandbox elements were on the light side I would give it a try, but from what your saying it sounds like its a bit too sand boxxy for my tastes.

To be fair, there isn't all that much sandbox in terms of locations to visit. But every step of a storyline will require visiting a certain place (via sandbox) to kick off the next part of the story. But it's explained pretty well each time if (in the MC's room) you check the character logs to see what's needed next. It still might not be your style (not going to guess whether it is or not), but personally I don't find the sandbox element a big deal. Shrug.png

1. Where do you see that 'assertion' in the post you are replying to?

2. How would saying you have a problem with sandbox games contradict a statement that few people have issues with sandbox games? Are you many people?

Just ran into that dialogue for the festival without renders... the dev should really remove all that. It was quite confusing until I checked the code:

It's not sandbox-y at all, the people who claim that are just completely wrong, probably because they haven't actually played the game.

A ton of people hate sandbox, me included.

There are multiple pages of posts commenting and debating about sandbox element, and the game is tagged sandbox so I suspect your like myself in that some sandbox elements are well enough done that I don't notice them. Of course it could also just be people causing drama so will check this thread out next update.

The quick travel menu makes the sandbox completely avoidable, as if it's a pure VN. The people who are debating this haven't played the game.

To be fair, only main girls are open with the quick travel, a lot of side scene are not (it s not perfect...), like the two servant alchemist and head guard... the girl who become your sexual slave, etc... nearly all time it block, just go to servant house.
But nearly all the sandbox mase could be avoid (all the girls have an aera where you can find her, so sometime it s quiker to go that place than the fast travel). If you don t read all the text some event can be hard to find... the quick travel is also usefull because if a girl disapear it s mean you have to do others... and it say this (like with the demon girl).

I don t know why this talk, but this game is a sandbox. by menu or map it s the same, you have to look for event by going some aera to find them. But yes the dev made an effort to be less hard to find event for those like me who don t like sandbox mase. if not i had not play this game...

Can you skip main girls questline and still play the game to the end?

Wondering since Magna and the lesbian chick just dosent make sense to me, i dont really see the point of them being there since they just dont fit with the main story...i mean 1 lesbian and 1 BI and both having sex with girls while their only goal is to marry MC, to me it just dosent make sense for them to risk not getting married to MC when its supposed to be so importen to them, so the last thing they should do is fuck around with anyone.

I dont mind lesbian stuff, but i like it to fit the story which i personaly dont feel like it does, question is if you can complete game without training with Magna, so if i can just skip their questlines it would make for a better story to me.

I think while the fast travel system with the girls solves the girl (i.e. Love interest) specific events by putting it in entirely VN mode with the player seeing whether they're up to date or not, those don't take into account all the events which happen in the game that is either the main story or involving multiple characters.

So for all those non-LI specific events, player is ending up going around the clicking basically every location and try to see whether an unseen event can be triggered.

And this I'm putting forth as a constructive criticism towards MrRooster but it is definitely one of the flaws with the current sandbox.
I'd say the game should have either;

- Another VN mode which players can access those non-LI specific events
or
- A proper journal system which keeps track of these non-LI specific events in a list of sorts and instructs the player which place to go in order to trigger each event, and tells the player whether they're all up to date in terms of completed.

With the latter (i.e. journal system), games like Desert Stalker, & The DeLuca Family (really great games) uses it, and it helps the player keep track of whether they've completed all the content and what they need to do to trigger each event.

Regarding Wartribe, I finished Monica's event as well as the bathhouse event with Luce, Magda, Rhea, Joy (both which can't be accessed through fast travel), and I still have no idea whether I finished all these non-LI specific events because the game doesn't have any indicator (and as I've said before, at times one can guess which building to click in order to access events, but other times player has to blindly click on all the buildings to find any events one may have missed is no fun).

And don't get me wrong, I like the story of the game a lot.
It's just that these additional system (like the Journal or another VN mode for non LI specific events ) will go a long way in making the game feel more player friendly and less of a chore in terms of the gameplay).

If that's what you've taken away from the story, either you're only five minutes in or you haven't been paying attention.

ETA: It's even right there in the OP:
Sure they do, but that dosent change that their main goal is to marry MC to help their own families/city by gaining a powerfull ally, so putting that at risk doing what they do still dosent make much sense atleast not to me, if that other agenda could change it so it would make sense i dont know since the second i see Magna with the other girl i would say bye bye to her and never get to the point where it might be explained why she fucks around, since it dosent paint the picture of her being serious with wanting to be with MC if shes already fucking others while trying to win MC over...

Also found it a bit idiotic that you cant say no and leave at Magnas lesbian scene, but your only given 2 choices if you want to fuck the random girl first or second... that really needed a no thanks im leaving choice, since its pretty much rape when the girl never gives concent to be fucked by MC.

But people see things diffrently and like diffrent things which is fine, i just wanted to know if its at all possible to skip those two girls if you dont want anything to do with them and still be able to play the rest of the story.

There seems to be an issue, I am at the point in the Twins story line where it says progress with Pricilla to upgrade the bathhouse, but when I go to Pricilla in the fast travel event screen it just goes to Fredricka and i can Fuck her and that's it?

You're right about the features. Honestly, at the start I didn't expect to have so many characters. I meant to focus on mainly our 9 point cast and their "friends." But that quickly got out of hand. I have plans to sharpen the game after I finish the first chapter (Which we are on now) Frankly, it's so long I might call it Book 1 Instead of Chapter 1. But 2.0.0 will finish this "book" and after that I will sharpen the features.

Frankly, the game might not be for you. I'm sadden by that because I would hope it was. You have a good point that certain options should be avoidable. Early in production I didn't include the option to skip all of those as often as I'd like. That's a big part of why I am reworking some of the earliest content. It was from years ago. Now I've made it a staple to be able to skip any lewd content in newer releases.

As for the notion of Magna's character not making sense, I am of the opinion she can realize the gravity of the situation while still wanting to appeal to her own desires. That just might not appeal to you, and again that's fair. The way I see it, Magna feels like the MC and she work well together, and she's happy to be with the MC, but not at the cost of her own character. But as always, thank you for playing and engaging with the product!

Could be a bug. There are always some of those hanging around.
Could you do me a favor and tell me what it says in the character logs for Priscilla and the Twins exactly?
Knowing what it says, I can chase the issue easier.

And thank you for playing!
