For anyone who isn't already aware, the first chapter of Part 2 is up on .

Did this game ever undergo a remake and was the final festival event ever released for the first time not on Itch or Patreon but on a site somewhere else? I recall playing the final festival event years ago, but that should be impossible. What am I missing?

I don’t think it ever got a remake of any sort and the festival stuff only happened last year.

Well that doesn't quite add up...

Anyway. Anyone knows if the choices made through Wartribe Academy carries over to Wartribe Origins and what the technicalities are? Or do you know where you read that information and can pinpoint me to the exact source? What does the dev say?
Seems like a no. You will just get the occasional choices to say if you remember something from the past(Wartribe Academy) and such.

Finished both Wartribe Academy and 0.0.3 of Wartribe Origins and the one thing that stands out the most is how alarmingly familiar the games feel. This should not be possible. How do I faintly remember playing the games several years in the past? I do not know, and that freaks me out.

As in standard at this point, a massive spoiler containing my: "Live reactions, observations, bugs and questions etc" I'm providing a spoiler for 0.0.3 of WO, but... WA turned out to be just a "little" bit too long to post as it's own spoiler. So a file is provided instead to the txt.
I do not honestly expect anyone to read the provided txt as it contains: 23224 words equaling 1:32 hours of 250wpm reading apparently. Or 128,626 characters worth. That still dwarfs the 2 weeks ish long playthrough of 12-15 hours of daily reading at apparently around 100-150 wpm reading... yeah, it turns out I may be a slow silent reader but that's no surprise with 12-15 hours of daily reading. I have a problem.
Anyways... The spoiler is more manageable at 2009 words. Still much.
And yeah, neither is quality checked. It's just my thoughts as I play. Standard stuff.

Honestly, after the things you learn, you almost feel tempted to write down a bunch of notes about the game and then read through it again just to see if you get a different perception of events after learning what is really going on. Like who is the enemy, for example? Spoiler alert: I still don't know...
Honestly I deserve a medal for my commitment to these horrendously large reactions. I don't know, make it out of dirt or something

No, Wartribe Origins is just part 2 of Wartribe Academy. Plenty games just have that in one thread when the first part gets too big and needs to be split. We just need to keep Academy as a part 1 download in the thread and start updating it with the new part 2 Origins updates. Creating a new thread would hurt the games discoverability and throw away the context for much of the discussion that has been happening here.

I spent a nice long time reading and understanding the code to make this work! I'll have to release a 2.0.3 version of WA. And once you play that version to the end (You just need to reach the end) then that save should show up as a loadable option in WO! (As long as the two parts are on the same device.)

Also. In response to your long reaction, instead of replying to the content, I just want to say I appreciate the interest and the effort that you have spent in following the plot. I hope future events don't do anything to take away from your experience so far. And ultimately that we all have a good time.

That is partially correct. No full remake was ever done, except on Rhea's content. Her images and the way her original story branches, are different from the 0.1.0 version of WA. I was also hoping to update the images in Luce's storyline, but I am rather focused on Origin content at the moment. One day.

So Rhea's stuff has changed in Academy? (Also - do I need to do a full replay in Academy to transfer it to Origins?)

Yes, Rhea's content was remade at some point. Not all of it, the early parts of it.
No, you don't need to do a full replay. You just need to run a save that is near the end of the game fully to the end of the game.

Very confusing end to Chapter 1. All of those disjointed flashbacks and the weird punishment sex with Juna.

The story mostly made sense up until that point, then it went off the rails.

Flashbacks should always be avoided because most writers (even pros) cannot pull them off without breaking immersion.

The writer knows the story, but the reader does not. It makes perfect sense to the author and often only serves to confuse the reader with little to no catharsis.

I'm hoping that "Origins" is better written. 5 more years will be a long time to get paid off on reading this story.

I was not confused at the end except about things that hadn't yet been explained - like WTF Josie was up to and why. Even that though I wasn't worried about because Juna would never voluntarily help Josie hurt the MC - for me this is one of the better written AVNs out there.

I am glad it seemed to make sense up until that point! Thank you for bearing with it for so long. I am hoping the next build cycle doesn't take nearly as long. Take care on your adventures.

Thanks for being so supportive, Pixillin. I'll just keep doing what I can. Good or bad, I like my creation very much.

Thank you for your reply. I do enjoy this story.

I think you understand my point about flashbacks. How you perceive your dreams may not be the same as others perceive their dreams. In that way, dreams/flashbacks are not universal and force the reader to have to think about something they have no or little point of reference to/for. The same reason why most stories don't usually switch languages mid-story, even for some theatrical effect.

Having now made it though the latest Origins, I do understand this better but it has stripped all linearity from the story, making it harder to understand. Again, I hope the payoff will be worth it.

That's pretty much where I'm at - I mean, Mina had a lot of leeway with me, just for being Juna's sister but she's dishonest, disloyal (to me at least - loyal to my enemies) and she killed someone I'd given safe passage to, so she not only has no honor herself, but she's damaged mine and now she's threatening Rhea - who is one of mine, so I'm about done. If Juna can think of a way we can take her out of the game without the risk of her reappearing and helping my enemies I'd love to hear it but otherwise I'm going to have to put her down. Ezra is treading on thin ice as well for associating with her and because of that water spirit thing. It would take a lot for me to want to hurt Ezra but they might be looking at a big demotion.

Ahh I see. I may have made a mistake in story telling then.

I don't blame Ezra.

I expected Ezra to look but Ezra should know that MC sees Mina as an enemy. I also expected Ezra to protect my people but they let Rhea’s family take Joy even though Joy was one of MCs servants. I may forgive Ezra but I want an explanation for both of these failures. (And I still don’t like that water spirit being near me - especially given that it’s there without Ezra’s consent. So I want a way to purge it. Maybe Josie can help with that.

As for Mina - I want to kill her. I wanted to kill her when we had her captive in Academy. The only thing that gives me any pause is her being Juna’s sister but so far I don’t see another way around it.
