well yes, in the first game we were introduced to the 3 Gracen sisters. this is why im confused
-Vivian Gracen the oldest, who is currently missing.
-Baroness Joana Gracen, the second oldest. who snuck into the academy and was caught.
-and Lunette Gracen. who tried to sleep with us during a party while drunk.
with Luce Gracen being the youngest.
now the game is talking about someone called "Cordelia", which is where im not sure who that is...
is Cordelia the same person as Vivian, or is it another new sister that we are just hearing about now.

I had not idea you were stupid, the first game was finished long ago.
so how is this sequel supposed to work? save transfer? assumed 'cannon' choices? onle set in the same world and not directly related to the first? fill a questionnaire at start? other?

I didn't check in the original Wartribe Academy thread in a while so forgot about the game a bit and only checked it out yesterday.
Finding out MrRooster had continued a new game as sequel, I jumped right into it.
Some thoughts after completing the update (tried to be constructive, citing the good, but also areas which could be improved);

That's a definite must. I think there are some significant issues with some of the early scenes already, so why don't I just go do that now and nip it in the bud.

This doesn't seem to be a game that people talk about a lot, but if anyone is interested this is my take so far on Parts I and II (bearing in mind that I'm pretty sure I don't feel the way Rooster intended for us to.

why the hell is our military leader protagonist suddenly a moron on politics and military strategies after spending most of his life at war, part of it leading men in war, and all of the last game learning politics and nuance???

I've noticed that he also seems super reluctant to kill people. It was the same in the last game. There are a few people I could have killed in the last game whose deaths would have made life easier in this game (and I had the opportunity in those cases - like Mina and that little shit who was trying to blackmail Cleo).

I think in this instance it was a poorly done attempt to allow the dev to exposition/lore dump the basic strategies to the player since our character would honestly grasp it all really quickly
Perhaps it would have been a good idea to do exposition like that via flashback being trained by MC's dad? It is a little odd that we have no idea what kind of man he is, what his relationship with MC is, what he even looks like. This could be a 2 birds, 1 stone situation.

It's been a while since I've played, yeah. I know towards the end of the game, characters start talking about him more openly, but a scene of MC and his dad actually interacting would go a long way. I remember feeling a little caught off guard that he turned out to be such an asshole because for most of the game he seemed like a normal, if distant father.
I could have just forgotten tho.
edit- went and replayed and yeah I forgot that there is actually flashback with MC and his dad. My bad!
