It's crazy this still has 29 paying supporters when the last post on Patreon dates back to May 2023, the last update even April 2023, the developer completely vanished without saying a word and the project obviously being abandoned ages ago. Literally burning money for nothing. Might aswell give it to homeless people instead. lol

What's really shitty about it is the fact that this developer is still active on this forum, his last visit being on October 20th. Clearly he's been reading this thread, but how shitty of a person do you have to be to keep charging patrons, not saying anything during all this time while everyone knows you're here.

Honestly, it's their money to throw away. Maybe it will lead the dev to restarting work on it once he has had a break.

Ofcourse it's their money, but it's more a question of moral, work ethics, a sense of responsability and good will from the developer towards their community and those who support them financially. 1 year and 7 months is a hell of a break, especially without saying anything to their supporters and without stopping payments all the while still browsing F95 regularly. lol

It's not like he couldn't make a statement. He just doesn't give a flying fuck about his fans imo. Not like he's a professional game developer or anything, but common sense would lead most humans to say something along the lines of "Sorry guys, I'm quitting."....or stop charging people for nothing. I guess the anonymity of the internet makes it possible. In the real world, hardly anyone could pull that off. Which, honestly, makes the guy look even worse.

It's just a very disappointing move from someone who used to interact with people here aswell as on Patreon&Discord on a daily.

A public statement would have been nice.

But people know game is abandoned. If they are too stupid to unsubscribe at this point then they dont deserve that money. They probably have so much that they dont even notice on card. Ive seen the type before. Gooners with so much cash that they donate hundred a month for dogshit game that updates once or twice a year. At least it coming out of their trust fund and getting put back into the economy. No average blue collar worker is spending that much on porn game.
